Portland is about 40 minutes north of Nashville, and 30 minutes south of Bowling Green. Shops, restaurants, and grocery stores are all located within a mile of the home. Treat yourself to a quiet retreat to middle Tennessee, and still have access to all of the sightseeing opportunities. Simply put, this place feels like home. From our first time walking in, we felt like we belonged here. The high ceilings, spacious bedrooms, and details in the wood work are truly special. We hope that you will feel as comforted and at home as we did during our time living there. Master bedroom with king bed is upstairs, the second bedroom has one queen bed and connects to the downstairs bathroom, and the third bedroom has two queen beds. It’s a gorgeous 1920s house that has been updated while still keeping the old charm. The decor was breathtaking (I need to know where they shop!) and the beds/linens/blankets were incredibly comfortable and cozy. Kitchen was stocked and there was ample shelving to store groceries. Kevin was an amazing host and always answered my questions within minutes of me sending them. I’ve stayed at a lot of rental properties and this place is one of my very favorites.
