You can access the Gulf from the public access across the street and take a walk on the beach or try your hand at fishing on the beach. There are 2 boat ramps within 6 miles of the camp site. You can also enjoy canoeing, kayaking, fishing at Salinas Park and the Rocks on Cape San Blas with access to canoe and kayaking launches. Nearby attractions: St. Joseph State Park 14 miles away, catch a ferry to St. Vincent Island, or enjoy the Cape San Blas Lighthouse a historic lighthouse in Port St. Joe.
