Just metres from the beach, surrounded by lawn with reserve next door for uninterrupted views. Kitchen that overlooks the bay, electric stove, large 2 door fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, rice cooker, sandwich press. Open plan dining and lounge area with TV, split system reverse cycle air-conditioner. Ceiling fans in both bedrooms, small bathroom with shower and basin, separate w/c. Laundry with top loading washing machine and sink. Undercover deck with outdoor setting and gas BBQ, sit relax and enjoy the views! Walking path in front - walk to jetty one way, and Flaherty's Beach the other way. Stroll to the new nature playground. Bed configuration - bed 1 - queen, bed 2 - double plus bunk. Pillows and quilts are provided, you will need to bring your own linen - pillow cases, top/bottom sheets, towels/bath mat and tea towels Pt Turton has a Tavern, general store with general groceries, bait, ice, fuel, delicious baked pastries and take away food. The Classic Shack is without doubt the worst Stayz listed property we have had the misfortune to book. The online photos are misleading and deceptive. The light and airy shots are not representative of the old dark dingy and smelly joy that awaits you. We arrived, entered the property, chose not to stay and drove straight home, ruining our planned stay at Point Turton. What a dump. ##### DINO D. Has had a nice little Reno on the living areas but the toilet and bathroom area is still very original, not that it really bothered us at all. The only thing we found annoying about our stay was the entrances. Road access was there but only if you entered from the beach faced balcony/pergola area and opened from the inside. The sliding door lock was very temperamental and probably needs a replacement as it’s definitely on its last legs. If they were to change that lock and place one also on the road facing door where the parking is would make ease of entry much easier, and maybe a new fly screen door on the front also as the original wooden one is very tight to open and shut, especially trying to be careful as to not void a bond refund. Again no front handle to open from road entrance on fly screen door. Other than the entry situation the kitchen could do with a cheap microwave. These aren’t complaints at all, rather tips for the owners to maximise return visitors. Nice spot and very clean, we’d come back. Cheers. ##### Ben W.
