We are close to all Pocono attractions like Camelback ski, Kalahari(largest indoor water park), outlet shopping, etc. Just because you are away from home, doesn't mean you should be less comfortable than being home. This spacious, 5 bedrooms 3 baths, two-level house is well furnished and decorated to accommodate 14 guests plus infants (living room sleeper sofa can be pulled out to sleep 2 additional ppl). We also have a crib and high chair if you bring a baby (just like us!). Everything from sofas and chairs to kitchen supplies, and from mattresses to something as little as wash towels are hand-selected to ensure your stay is convenient and comfortable. Professional cleaning crew will make sure all are clean and ready for you (beds made and clean towels). We provide extra sheets and blankets if needed for sofa bed (just ask). Soaps, shampoo, trash bags, paper products, as well as firewood are also provided for guests convenience. Two levels of living provide your group with plenty of room to spread out. Both levels have double glass door walkouts to the private, beautifully landscaped backyard with amazing lake views! Upper level walks out from dining room to a deck furnished with another dining set and gourmet BBQ grill. And the lower level walks out from game room (pool table and sauna) to a covered patio with hot tub and many outdoor seats-- nice retreat area to spend quality time with family and friends while enjoying watching others from your group playing on the water. Paddle boat, canoe, kayaks and life vests are provided and free for you to use. Fish on our private dock, camp around fire-pit, chill on the hammock, or go out boating on the lake, your choice:) Our 50-acre lake is private and quiet, with crystal clear water for pure relaxation. Start a fire up in the lakeside fire pit while lounging comfortably toward the amazing, glass-like lake...let time slow down and let the evening fall on you. This is the place where your family and friends will make memories and talk about for many years to come, so we will make sure everything goes right and smoothly for your stay. All we ask is please respect our house and our neighbors, and take the responsibility to remind your group when needed (especially when you have a large party). Kitchen has coffeemaker, toaster, food processor, crock pot, waffle maker, rice cooker, water boiler, 35 bottle wine cellar, and is fully stocked with all new cutting/cooking/serving/dining sets, plus bakeware and glassware. Gas BBQ grill has four-burner with side burner is steps outside from the dining room. Indoor dining table sits 6 plus 4 more seats available if needed. Outdoor deck has dining table can seat 8; there are also lounge chairs to use outside. The view of the lake was serene and beautiful. The property and amenities are just as described on the website, and the watercraft were in good working order and much appreciated. The house was comfortable for all 11 of us and had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The hot tub was clean and running when we go there, and the lakefront property is beautiful. There was plenty of room for my group of 12 for a bachelor party. The owner Sharon was a great communicator and took extra steps to ensure that we were accommodated. House was as advertised, although pictures show different furniture in living areas. Master bathroom needs some updating, shower faucet is old/loose but functional. Beds were comfy and plenty of blankets and pillows. Drip coffee pot/keurig machine in the kitchen. The lake and the fire pit area were where we hung the most. Plenty of chairs and the provided wood was a nice bonus. Our kids caught 5 fish total while out on the pedal boats. They had fun using the canoes/kayaks as well. ##### fawne b. The house and property were clean. The access to the lake was great, we loved the kayaks and canoe available, it was definitely one of the highlights of the trip. Hot tub was clean and enjoyable. We had a lovely time, the house was big enough to accommodate all of us, even the weather was great. Couple of little things the xbox remotes were not working, but that was fine as we kept pretty busy with everything else. The house was clean and organized. The bathrooms were stocked with toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, body was and bath towels -- it was great. The rooms were spacious, even for a group of 11 girls. The bathrooms were a bit tight, but definitely not something that would prevent us from going back.The backyard is beautiful! The private dock, fire pit, and sauna were definitely the highlights of our stay. Although the rental agreement is long document and tedious to sign, it was detailed and transparent, which we appreciated. Would definitely go back again with family and friends. ##### Jessica M. The house is in a great location. The view from the kitchen window and deck is so beautiful. The boys had plenty of space in the yard to play catch, soccer, and football. They loved the kayaks, paddle boat, and row boat. The hot tub was a hit for everyone. We enjoyed local hiking trails and the Mount Airey Casino. Kitchen was full of everything you need. The beds were comfortable. Plenty of pillows, blankets,bedding and towels. We did an instacart delivery from Sams Club and Shoprite for all our meals.The property manager, Sharon, was so helpful and texted us a few times to check in. Totally recommend! ##### Melissa L. We has a situation where an appliance didn't work through no fault of the owners. (The problem has since been solved.) The owners tried so many options to help us through - they were unbelievably responsive to the situation. They sent someone to look at the situation (twice, both on weekend days.) They offered to purchase alternatives to help us through. They even gave us a choice of what we thought we would need. We were able to work around the situation, and it did not adversely affect our weekend. We were still able to enjoy the house and our stay there. We were so impressed with the owners' efforts to help us.I think the only negative thing I would say was we had to go to WalMart (so very close) to get more paper products. All he wanted to do was smoke a cigar and drink some bourbon around a fire pit near a lake - this was the perfect location! The weather didn't cooperate as it got really cold so any water activities were out - which elevated the value of the pool table and Smart TVs (baseball/hockey/Derby time of year)! Plenty of bed rooms and everything was clean and comfortable. We played golf at Pocono Manor about 10 min away and it was awesome - recommend that place too! On the way to the house, we stopped and grabbed burgers, dogs, beer, etc at Shoprite - and if you happen to see 'Sherry's Cheesteaks" in the parking lot in a run-down red camper - GET THEM! They were amazing! Communicated with Sharon a few times (fridge wasn't getting cold and she told me how to fix in a minute and all fine after that). It was barely shoveled or salted both in the front and in the back porch area. The house is very dated and the furniture is not in the best condition. There were several blinds missing from the front window. Overall cleanliness was questionable and linens (towels) were old and thin. We did not use the dishwasher or laundry machines at all instead opting for paper and plastic. Unfortunately there was no lighter to make a fire either indoors or out but we found our own. The outdoor furniture was also frozen into the ground and broken. The pictures certainly made the house look nicer than reality. It was odd that there weren't mirrors in two of the bedrooms and the downstairs bathroom is small.The best quality of this house for our group was that there was ample beds/sleeping arrangements where we were able to have the kids be on the lower level and the adults on the top. It provided a good space for us to hang out and enjoy each other's company and the close distance to Kalahari worked well in our favor as one of the days was too cold for the kids to be out playing.
