"The hotel is clean and functional. The AC is very useful in the summer. But my check-in process was very bad. The self check-in machine asked me to pay (I already paid Expedia in full when making the booking) for my booking, but always show errors when I tried to pay. Called the hotel by phone, was told someone was coming in “a few minutes”, but I ended up waiting for a whole hour, on the street outside the hotel, before someone showed up."

"FOOD: Compared to other all inclusive hotels we’ve been to (cape verde, greece, antalya) food here is so far the best. Stayed fo 13 days and no issues whatsoever especially with our 15mo old STAFF: all very friendly and polite. Facilities: POOL they have fantastic paddle pool for babies and toddlers, they also have pool area for older kids. Adult section in front of the castle and an infinity pool adults only area facing the sea. Soft play area Nursing room-changing facilities, steriliser (which I am very surprised that they have), microwave and sink. Restaurant,ala carte and bars Amazing food at the buffet Ladon: steak house- I highly recommend people to try the T-bone, its for extra charge of 51euros but definitely worth it. Nemuru-asian restaurant- not so impressed Il paradiso- il edit this review once we tried it. No issues getting drinks with bars, sometimes staff will also come to you at your table to ask for your order. They also have a fastfood style restaurant by the kids pool area where you can self order on their kiosk. They have cheese bites, burgers, hotdogs, wraps, chips etc in there. Only issue I had was for the first 5 days room aircon wasnt working and I reported it to them since day 1, infairness to them they tried to sort it out but its really not working. They offered us a room change but we are not really keen to pack our bags again, check out at 12nn and wait 3pm for the new room. Fan was offered but when we said yes to it, nothing was available."

"2nd visit this year. From booking until check out experience was amazing!! It was my Husband’s 60th birthday whilst we were there they decorated the room and supplied a cake,as requested on arrival making it extra special, a special mention to the receptionist Hector, very welcoming, nothing to much trouble and very friendly throughout our stay. Everywhere is spotlessly clean, and smells absolutely amazing,beds very comfortable too!! all staff are smiley, friendly and efficient. Ticks all boxes, we can’t wait to go again. Our only suggestion would be that the bedrooms have larger wardrobes, with more shelves for clothes and a full length mirror."

"After a delayed flight, check in was easy and Anthony responded promptly to any queries we had, ensuring a couple of small repairs were completed quickly. The villa is spacious and clean but did lack a little bit of love- we thought that just a few things updated would have made such a difference to the overall appearance and provide a better quality experience. Pretty much most of the basics were there except a few things but they were easily bought (e.g pegs- we couldn’t see any but left a pack that we bought, it’s too windy to put washing out without them!) The garden area could have benefited from some general maintenance, cutting back some of the flowering bushes would give you much more space, and allow you to see the lizards even better! It would also help with minimising the amount of dead foliage and flowers blowing into the pool constantly. The owner mentioned that the parasol has been replaced many times, it was far too windy to have it up most of the time anyway but perhaps a basic gazebo/covered veranda over the table area would resolve this and be more efficient and cost effective too. Location was good, 10 minutes walk to a few bars and restaurants and a good supermarket at the bottom of the golf course opposite Hole 19 bar. A special mention for the pool guy who was friendly, frequent and very thorough- he was great! Overall, a good villa but could easily be a great villa with just a few cosmetic upgrades. Thank you again Anthony."
