"Cannot think of anything negative about the hotel. Staff are wonderful. Room looking over bay was excellent. "What a great find! The studio rooms we had were excellent - very comfortable bed, fluffy towels, very modern bathroom and a small kitchenette. We also had a balcony. The room wasn’t very clean, we found leftover fruit in the fridge from previous guest and kettle was full of scale, it was so dirty that we actually had to go out and buy white vinegar in order to clean it as we were boiling water for our baby. "The Astoria Hotel is perfectly located directly opposite the port—ideal if you need convenient access. Upon entry, the air-conditioned foyer felt cool and luxurious. The gentleman at the front desk was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Our rooms were spacious, with strong air conditioning and large, well-appointed bathrooms. The hotel is situated right next to several restaurants and cafes, and there’s convenient parking available at the rear. I would definitely stay at the Astoria Hotel again and highly recommend it."

"It was not welcoming. The address provided in your website is wrong and misleading to another property which is 500 meters away. I tried to call the contact no, but no response from the property owner. With the help of someone living in the property, the owner arrived in 5 minutes and took us to another property. The owner admitted it was a wrong address. But it was disappointing and stressed as not sure whether we get to sleep or find an alternative at 9pm. There was no hot water in the property and owner said it’s not working and can be fixed next day. They are aware of the situation before our arrival however did not notify us in advance. It was horrible to take bath with the super cold water especially with the kids. Please avoid this property "
