"From our arrival to departure, Borge del Ulivi was just what our family needed for the last leg of our Italy adventure! With close proximity to Bologna, Modena & Maranello we were able to visit multiple areas & then return to our lovely apartment to enjoy the peace & quiet. Francesco & his parents were lovely hosts, who gave us great recommendations on restaurants, gelato spots, grocery stores… they even made our Easter Sunday reservation for us at a beautiful hilltop restaurant. The scenery was breathtaking, pictures don’t do it justice. It was a bit early in the season when we visited, so we couldn’t enjoy the pool & outdoors as we would during the summer, but hopefully we can return one day to experience the outdoor perks this property offers. "

"A lovely hotel with the most comfortable beds and pillows of anywhere we stay. Good location and the rooms are nice and big with lovely bathrooms and large showers. Breakfast has enough variety and the waiting staff are proactive in cleaning up and restocking. Free parking right outside your door and pet friendly makes it our go to when we are in Modena. "

"Everything was as described. Mauro and his lovely wife welcomed us when we arrived in the evening. We parked the car inside the gate and they showed us the appartment. It was clean and even nicer than what we seen from the pictures. We were suprised to find the kitchen filled with everything we needed to eat and drink. It was first time for us in this part of Italy. We spent 4 nights in the appartment and during the days we visited the Modena, Maranello and Bologna region. It was very nice to come home in the evening and relax in the appartment. The appartment is located in a friendly an quetly area.If you planning to stay in this region of Italy this is a perfect place to stay. Thank you !"

"The location was perfect for doing day trips to all the amazing Emilia Romagna cities. We saw San Marina, Ravenna, Dozza, Parma, Modena & more! It was also perfect to just relax. There are many terrific restaurants nearby. Our hosts, Gregorio & Francesco were wonderful, they truly wanted to ensure that we had a wonderful time in Italy and were helpful with anything we needed.
