Summary: This true country home has a quirky layout allowing guests to gather in different areas as well as retreat to private corners. With three bedrooms, two living rooms and mountain views, this home will have a place for everyone. You’ll enjoy a gourmet kitchen, gorgeous hardwood floors throughout the home, a wood burning fireplace, and large comfortable seating. There is a large deck off of the dining area with gorgeous views of mountains. The setting is just magical! The Space: Pulling up to this home, takes you to a secluded hill surrounded by trees and picturesque views of the mountains. The main living room has comfortable seating, a crackling wood burning fireplace and large windows to help bring the beauty of the outside in. The family room boasts a large sectional sofa, a floor to ceiling brick fireplace retro-fitted with a warm pellet stove and a large Smart TV that you can log into your streaming apps such as Netflix, Hulu, amazon Prime, etc. Well stocked open kitchen with stainless steel appliances, an induction cooktop in the island and an in-wall double oven, you’ll have all the necessary cooking & serving items needed. This includes cookware, pots, pans, plates, bowls, glasses and mugs. Bar seating for two, wire mesh cabinet doors and a window with beautiful views make preparing dinners easy and fun. Coffee lovers will enjoy the 8 cup drip coffee pot. There is a separate dining room with seating for six guests to enjoy those home cooked meals. Sliding glass doors in the dining room take you to the gas grill on the large deck where you can enjoy the gorgeous views of the mountains. There are a total of three bedrooms to accommodate guests during your stay, for easy planning here are the bedroom layouts: \-First floor bedroom 1: queen size bed \-Second floor bedroom 2: queen size bed Second floor bedroom 3: twin bed plus a twin trundle (sleeps 2) There is one full and one half bathroom. The full bath with a tub/shower combo is located on the first floor and a half bath upstairs. Continue to enjoy the fresh mountain air and sit outside at the fire pit facing the secluded wooded hill. The house was as described and expected, and it offered the privacy and seclusion we wanted. We very much appreciated the reliable WiFi as some of our party had to work remotely during the week. Also, our pup loved the fenced in yard, the deck is great, and we enjoyed use of the fire pit. Perfect combination of being out in nature while also being super close to PIttsfield and nearby Lenox, Tanglewood, etc. Also close to local ski areas (not needed in summer, but thinking ahead...) We loved having all the different areas for hanging out - a deck overlooking beautiful hills, a fire pit on the other side, the den, a big kitchen table for playing games AND a living room. Three great bedrooms as well as a kitchen with induction stove, fabulous coffee maker and more. We would definitely stay here again. I would note that if you have difficulty navigating stairs, this may not be the place for you as there are steps to kitchen, into the house and into other areas of the interior. ##### Karen L. One will require extra laundry and cleaning for their clothing if they use CPAP. The surrounding is wooded, but we still think better curtains would be nice. Fencing was excellent around the house and helped keep our pet inside. The house is great Spacious and charming and pretty well equipped. The fire pit and fireplaces are lovely. However, I was very disappointed when after checking the listing and confirming via chat twice that there was a portable crib, there was not. When I asked about it after we checked in I was told sorry you can get one at target up the street where you can buy one. When I said how disappointed I was after having confirmed several times, they offered to drop off a portable crib, but no mattress. We had to make other arrangements which was frustrating, especially since we were told it was included in the rental. I would expect much better cleaning service. When we arrived, one of the couches was covered in crumbs, Hand towels had dried toothpaste on them, wet towels had been left in the dryer, and towels in the bedroom had laundry detergent spilled on them A screen door would really help keep the bugs out when entering and exiting. The location is excellent and beautiful. I wouldn’t stay in the winter as the driveway is very steep. But, After sorting out the problems, overall we really enjoyed our stay. ##### Lynnette N. The house was extremely cold and there was a note on the thermostat that it was set for heat and not to touch it! They also requested that you don't wear shoes in the house. The floors were freezing! The house has many steps which we found dangerous. The bathtub is unusually high making it difficult to get into - unless you are 6 feet tall. There are no grab bars making it unsafe. When I have stayed at VRBO's in the past there is always info about the area, ie. where are grocery stores, restaurants, etc. There was not such info at this house. Texts messages were answered promptly though. There is a smart tv that lets you stream what you subscribe to. There is no access to network tv. When we left, I left my C.Crane portable radio and a flashlight on the stand next to the bed. When I realized I had left the items, I texted Lucas and he checked with the housekeeper. I was told they were not found. I imagine the owners of this house use a company to manage it. I never met Lucas or Drew. ##### Jacqueline K. We rented this property for a second time this year and it was worse the second time. None of our guests showered :( I was given a 10% refund only after calling and demanding it. The host asked me to take pictures of the faucet. VRBO said I should have taken a video after the fact. It was ridiculous.The driveway was a sheet of ice. I asked about the condition of the driveway prior to arriving as I knew it was on a steep hillside. When we arrived, we could barely make it up the driveway with our 4-wheel drive vehicles. I was told by the host to find a shovel and salt and tend to it ourselves. There was no salt at the property. We had to go out to find salt to "tend to the driveway." After being at the property for 24 hours...a plow truck came to throw sand down...a little too late. Never again- ##### Marie M.
