Whether you're carving fresh powder at Sunrise Ski Resort (just 30 minutes away) or paddling across serene alpine lakes, adventure is always within reach. Enjoy hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and ziplining in the warmer months—and when the snow falls, gear up for skiing, snowboarding, and tubing. With several nearby lakes offering kayak, canoe, and boat rentals, plus trails for all skill levels, outdoor enthusiasts will feel right at home. Back at the chalet, relax on the spacious wraparound porch—complete with a picnic table, Adirondack chairs, and side tables for outdoor dining and conversation. The upstairs bedroom features a private balcony with seating and stairs leading down to the porch. In the evenings, gather around the outdoor fire pit with more seating and roasting sticks provided—perfect for s’mores and stargazing. Inside, stay comfortable year-round with brand-new central heating and air conditioning. And for eco-conscious travelers, there’s a Level 2 EV/RV outlet available—just bring your own charging cord. The Chalet '74 is your home base for all things mountain, adventure, and relaxation. THIS RESIDENCE STRICTLY PROHIBITS PETS. Bringing pets into the home may result in the loss of your deposit and additional cleaning charges, including carpet cleaning and other tasks required by the cleaning staff. Your cooperation in maintaining a pet-free environment is appreciated. If evidence is found of a pet a $500 fee will be added to your booking. This property has special local compliance requirements which include a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a security hold of $1000 (which is not a traditional security deposit, just a pending transaction). As an optional alternative to the security hold, you may opt in to purchase a non-refundable damage waiver provided by a third-party insurance company. The optional damage waiver is $57 for stays up to 10 nights, with an additional $6 per day for stays longer than 10 nights. Damage waiver purchases are optional. Pros: extremely comfortable beds, responsive hosts, great location, perfect amount of space for 7Cons: kitchen has a lot of things, but is missing useful items like plastic baggies, foil, and a clean sponge; beds for 14 but zero room for their stuff/food (no dressers or empty kitchen cabinets); showers both have half exterior walls causing water to spray all over the bathroom floor (and not conducive to bathing young children) ##### Ali R. Just a few small things we found to be a slight inconvenience while we were there. The listing should list that this Cabin is located on a main road into Pinetop Country club, on a holiday weekend, there was non stop traffic all day and late in to the night, some of it being side by sides speeding over 50mph down the road. Not quiet or private. We contacted the hosts about spiders & bug issues in the kids beds, sofas, and dishes. We were infromed that an extermination had happened prior to our stay. ##### Matt D. Property was clean and tidy and well stocked for our needs. All the beds were super comfortable, the king bed downstairs was the best bed ive slept on in any rental we've stayed at. Plenty of room for the 8 kids to run around and play outside. If we are needing to rent in the white mountains again, we will definitely try to stay here.
