The hosts were communicative and easy to reach. The apartment was clean, homey and had a well stocked kitchen. If you’re traveling with littles there’s plenty of bedding, a pack n play, bassinet for tiny babes, and even a high chair. The water pressure and shower were lovely and the hot tub was perfect. We would stay here again. We did have significant issues checking in, however, as neither the host nor VRBO provided us with any check-in instructions. We found this out upon arriving (in hindsight always ask the day before), and attempted to contact the host to no avail. VRBO provided us with their cell phone information, and due to the host being on vacation halfway across the planet with no cell service or internet, we were unable to connect. VRBO support was no help either, we were on hold with their customer support for a long time, and never got an agent. At this point, we were making plans to find an alternative place to stay at about 8:30pm on Friday night. Not a good experience when you are uncertain of lodging on one’s wedding anniversary weekend. Luckily, the host did eventually respond to a text message 90 minutes after initial outreach, and was able to provide us instructions to access the rental. Once we had made contact with the host, he was quite nice and accommodating. Let this be a lesson for proactive two-way communication by both host and renter (VRBO earns no stars here, they did nothing to help solve this situation). Had we checked in without issue, this stay becomes a five star rental, highly recommended. ##### David K.
