Home is located centrally, in the heart of Pinetop, next to a general store and 2 min walk to Pinetop's famous Darbi's Restaurant. Sunrise ski resort is a 40 mile drive Northeast. Walk or ride bikes through the wooded neighborhood. This property was centrally located to get to Woodland Park and Safeway and of course the Dollar Store which was right next door. You could hear the heavy traffic on the main highway but the house has excellent windows so the house was quiet if you had the windows closed. I loved sitting outside on the chairs and the street noise became like white noise especially when the wind was coming through the pine trees. It was fairly well stocked but could use sharper knives (small inconvenience) so I bought them a knife sharpener. The stairs were too slippery for our dog so we had to carry him up to bed every night and down in the morning- big inconvenience. The kids and I loved the cute house that ended up being perfect for our family, as the kids could play in the snow in the private yard and have their freedom outdoors! They also took several trips to the Dollar Store next door. The home is well appointed, cozy and has several unique amenities we enjoyed. I watched the birds from the porch, enjoyed the cool breeze from the swing. Kitchen was well stocked with spices and everything I needed to enjoy some nights hanging out in the kitchen. Wi-Fi worked without any glitches including need for video conferences. so if you are working remotely this place is perfect. Beds were comfy, house was truly homey and comforting. Plenty of space for a family to sprawl out and play games upstairs or down. But cozy enough for a solo or couples getaway.
