Sami Beach Hotel

"The place had everything for comfortable stay. The only thing they could improve is is they could provide onsite restaurant though I understand it may not be viable for the owners. We had excellent stay at the Sami beach hotel."

"My gf and I went and it was great, the main pool was practically free most of the time due to the personal pools most rooms had. The room pool it’s self was lovely and a nice size, although if you get too close to the edge you can see/are visible to other rooms as the walls either side ends. Each morning you get a lovely breakfast basket of bread/pastries and then select your main dish from the menu. Really enjoyed!"

"Excellent hotel with fabulous facilities. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast were very nice in the Selini Restaurant, lunch is the Gaia also very good. Dinner in the Gaia offered a wide selection of options however the Selini could have offered more choice including a fresh grilled fish dish. I would definitely stay there again if I was to return to Kefalonia."

Liberatos Village

"We had a lovely stay at Liberatos Village. We stayed in an apartment with a kitchenette, which was a great choice. It seemed reasonably new compared with other parts of the hotel and was very clean and comfortable, with one of the best showers we've ever had at any Greek accommodation! The hotel is sprawled across a large area, and our room was quite a walk from the reception and pool area, but we appreciated the privacy this afforded. Lassi is a small but very pleasant resort, with many nice tavernas and easy transport links to nearby Argostoli. Please note that it is very hilly! We had not fully appreciated how steep a hill the hotel was on, which made the walk down to the main street and back up again each time rather daunting. Many people took a taxi up the hill, which cost EUR 8 each time, but we preferred to brave the walk - we certainly came home fitter than when we arrived! We were rewarded at the top by the stunning views. We must also thank Liberatos Village for putting us up for an extra night after our 8.30pm flight home was grounded at the last minute. They were very kind and accommodating during these difficult circumstances and we really appreciated it."

"Kalliroi is a wonderful property, which is why we keep going back.Everything about the place is great. It's in a fabulous position, very tranquil but also within a short distance by car to small supermarkets & tavernas. Panagiota is adorable & shows you all around the property & answers any questions you might have.It really is a very special place."

"Emelisse resort was fantastic! Beautifully maintained and clean rooms, convenient location within walking distance to Fiskardo (alternatively on site shuttle upon request). The resort had a number of excellent amenities, including sports, games, spa, pools, private beach/access to ocean, plus much more! Most staff were very helpful, especially when it came to my nut allergy (although I will say, some staff were slightly arrogant which was unpleasant at times). The breakfast was delicious and had a good selection which varied each day. There was free gated parking available onsite). We would not hesitate to return!"
