For a 360 degrees view one has to climb up the Cross. My knees were sore so I didn't do it. The alternative lift was not working at the time we visited.

Mt. Samat is a historic mountain in the town of Pilar, Province of Bataan, Philippines. Located near its summit is the Mount National Shrine, a national shrine dedicated to the fallen Filipino and American fallen during World War II. The staff were friendly, the property is average but for a 3 star accomodation it’s meets the standard and expectations. There’s heaps of Ants around maybe the property could do something about that. Overall, I recommend this hotel . We only stayed here for 3 nights. I am not sure what it’s like ...

If looking for a true getaway, this place is it. No restaurants nearby so one has to shop for food to cook at the place. Full kitchen and a fridge. Close to the beach and that's it.
