This lovely 2 Bedroom cottage is the perfect place to relax and unwind with friends and family while visiting The Great Smoky Mountains and surrounding areas. Located in River Plantation, just 10 minutes from the parkway in Pigeon Forge, and 15 minutes from Gatlinburg, this unit offers paved roads all the way to the cabin with no mountain roads to traverse and would be considered motorcycle friendly only at the rider's discretion. This 2 Bedroom, 2 Bath unit that sleeps 4 is all one level. There are 17 steps to reach the main level, with parking underneath. You will find a fully equipped kitchen with dining for 4 and bar seating for 3, a living area with a gas fireplace, couch, loveseat, and a flat-screen TV. There are 2 Queen bedrooms. 1 Bedroom has a flat-screen TV and a private bath with a jetted tub and a shower combo. The other bedroom has private access to the back deck and a flat-screen TV. Bear Camp Cabins' staff were friendly and helpful. The house we rented was in a quiet neighborhood but close to the parkway. The house was nice, roomy, and clean. It also has a screened in back porch. Parking underneath the house, in the shade, was nice too on these hot sunny days. The cabin is a perfect weekend rental. However it needs updating and a deep cleaning. After walking around in the cabin, the bottom of my feet were black. The dryer and ice maker doesn’t work. Each time we walked down the steps to leave, we felt like we would fall because of the instability. Huge stains in ceiling and floor. Although the property needs.up.grading on beds especially. Ice maker and washer/dryer. Whomever cleans this property well needs toslow down. We had to wipe.down stuff.
