The studio, which is located behind the main house with its own separate entrance, is roughly the size of an average hotel room, but with more amenities. Although I didn't do any cooking during my stay, it looked like there was adequate equipment to do so. The bedding was very soft--like sleeping on clouds! The space was plenty large enough for myself, and probably enough space for most couples--but probably not enough space for any more than that. I especially like how it was decorated to the "Prickly Pear" theme, with all the southwestern colors, artwork, and plants!The Prickly Pear Hideout is located in a safe, quiet neighborhood, but it is not really walking distance from any shops, restaurants, or points of interest. I did not bring a car, so I relied mostly on rideshare services, but I think having a rental car would have been a good idea. There is more than enough street parking available. The walkway down the side of the house was well-lit at night, and I never heard any noise from the residents of the main house.The owner had excellent communication and messaged me once during my stay to check-in and see if I needed anything (I didn't).I would happily return to stay at this location again, but I would probably bring a rental car next time! ##### Carolyn G.
