We spent 11 lovely nights at the desert oasis! The home was amazing. We spent most of our time reading by the pool, enjoying the sweet bunnies and birds that visited us. Coming from the PNW all we wanted was warmth, sun and a pool!!The only issue we had was the never ending tree flowers dropping on the pathways and in the pool. It caused issues with the pool PH and pump. Which meant we had to constantly ask the very helpful pool guys to help us out! We kept very busy trying to help keep the pedals/leaves out of the pool. So, if you don’t mind being proactive “helpers” this time of year, you’ll love the stay! The yard and landscaping is amazing but a serious tree trimming near the pool needs to be done to make it perfect! ( The VRBO site pictures of desert oasis are not recent). Luckily, Jennifer gave us access to the leaf blower in the garage so we used it non stop!! The lot is huge, we felt like we were at an exclusive resort all alone! We enjoyed walking to some nearby trails and taking in all the beautiful desert cacti. But I really like the outside spaces. The pool, hot tub, sitting areas, are fantastic. You can rent a home in the Phoenix area and get privacy outside by 5 foot high block walls a few feet in front of you. But at Casa Puesta Del Sol your outdoor privacy is from fantastic landscaping and space. This home is on 1-1/2 acres not a 50 foot city lot. And Peoria is definitely the up and coming area in the Phoenix area. Stores, restaurants and great hiking trails near by. We will be back! ##### Steve P. The house was quiet and private but close to shopping, hiking and golf. The view is spectacular - we enjoyed beautiful evening sunsets while sitting by the fire. The home was clean, has comfortable beds and is very well appointed. The owner Jen has added many thoughtful touches for her guests and was very responsive and accommodating. There were six of us--my wife and myself, my sister-in-law and her husband, and our son and his new wife. Each couple had a comfortable bedroom (and bed), with either a large in-suite bathroom or full bathroom nearby. The house itself is clean, well-maintained, well-designed, well-decorated and spacious. The yard is beautifully planted, nicely secured with a fence, well-maintained and tastefully furnished for lounging and entertaining. Although a little cool most days, we enjoyed the pool and hot tub during the daytime, as well as the fire pit and fireplace at night. The house is located in an upscale neighborhood of similarly attractive homes. This house literally has everything. We were more than comfortable and felt pampered by the owner, Jen. She had thought of everything and even provided an assortment of coffee and tea pods for the Keurig. We took turns preparing dinner at night, and the kitchen lacked for nothing. We had a problem with the garbage disposal, but Jen had it fixed within hours. Jen's notes on the house and neighborhood (e.g., groceries and restaurants) were much appreciated. Close to everything yet feels very private. Jen doesn't miss a beat. The house has everything you need and then some. My husband loved that there was a ton of stocked coffee pods to choose from. Plenty of extra towels and linens. The house is very well stocked. We wish we could have stayed longer. We will definitely be renting Jen's house again. The backyard is amazing!! ##### Beth M. The home is beautifully decorated, very clean and stocked with everything you need. If you’re looking for relaxation and privacy, this is the place. The pool is larger than it appears on-line and was serviced by a very nice Gentleman while we were there who left it spotless. It seems the owner thought of everything. We absolutely loved everything about this beautiful home! It was very comfortable for the 6 adults in our group. The hot tub and pool were greatly enjoyed. The location is close to shopping and restaurants but feels very secluded from the busyness of the city. I hesitate to give it such a good review because I want to keep it all to myself! The pool was nice and warm, so many people cut corners and have a freezing pool you cant even use but not Jens house! The kitchen was fantastic for Thanksgiving dinner, we lacked for almost nothing as this owner has covered all the bases. All the beds were very comfortable, Our only complaint was the TV in the master bedroom did not work for some reason. Its a great lot and location, very private and fantastic sunsets.
