($350/weekend up to 7 days), 2 fire features, gas grill, Chef’s kitchen, spa like bathrooms, fireplaces inside and outside, golf course view right at the green, AND the rooftop patio – you can see all the mountains around and since we are on a hill, you can see the entire valley (gorgeous at night). In addition to the beds listed one queen self inflating air mattress is provided. Just 15 minutes from the Chicago Cubs spring training facility (Sloan Park). And about 45 minutes to the Milwaukee Brewers facility in Maryvale. If you like shopping, old town Scottsdale is just 25 minutes away. Very easy access to the freeway (202). Close to the Superstition mountains – great hiking at Lost Dutchman park. \*The VRBO quote system does not automatically include the fee of $350 for pool heating. This home is located in Red Mountain Ranch which is a master planned community in NE Mesa just off the 202 freeway. The Red Mountain Ranch Country Club is a mile and a half away and features all of the amenities of a country club with an award winning golf course, country club with restaurant and bar, fitness center, tennis and pickle ball courts, junior Olympic pool and spa. The country club is open to the public so you have the option to join. There are various levels of membership. The best short term option is a Pickleball Family Membership...$125 sign up plus $88/month. Member must be present with family or guests. It Includes access to tennis and pickle ball courts as well as the junior Olympic 75 foot heated lap pool and spa. Other memberships are available; you can find details on the Red Mountain Ranch Country Club website. A brochure can be emailed upon request. In an effort to be good neighbors, we want to keep the noise and traffic to a minimum. We have additional rules below. We do make exceptions to these rules on a case by case basis. Quiet Hours are 10pm - 7am (no one is allowed outside front or back during this time) Groups of all adults under 50 years old MAY not be accepted. Travelers without reviews MAY not be accepted. We loved the open floor plan. The backyard view is dreamy and provides the peace you need during a getaway. The pool area allowed for plenty of fun in the sun. There is a nice golf course that sits just beyond the property fence. We traveled for my graduate school commencement and only left the house for that, during our 4-day stay! That is how fabulous this property is. Located within minutes of grocery stores, restaurants, and interstate access, but also secluded enough to be tucked away from it all. The host was very responsive, provided plenty of bedding and bath towels which was great for our big group. Would recommend staying at this property if you plan to travel to the area. It was my husband and a friend who are in are mid to late 70's. The pool for us needed handrails to negotiate the stairs safely. We pulled up a chair to use as a railing. Very nice pool. We paid for the heating but it only ran the one day we turned it on. We appreciated the same day delivery of a new Keurig when the original one would not work. The bar stools were hard to use, difficult to get up into and position. Furniture a little too soft for elders. Showers were great but wished the handheld wands had not been eliminated. A few kitchen cleaning supplies would have been good. I used the Methods Spray I found in the bathroom. Washer and dryer worked well. I laundered and replaced everything but what we used that morning. Also we moved around the nightlights since older folks need to have more light to negotiate. We had a very nice stay! Everything was very well stocked, including the kitchen with plenty of dinnerware, cookware, and small appliances. We all enjoyed the view of the golf course abutting the back yard and looking at the surroundings (including Superstition Mountain) from the wonderful sunroof. We also enjoyed the fire pits in the backyard most evening and hearing a neighbor play taps from his rooftop at sunset. We are debating returning next year if our health allows.
