"The Appomattox Inn & Suites compares favorably to a Hampton Inn. The property is well maintained and offers several amenities, including a small fitness center, a pool, and a complimentary hot breakfast each morning. Guests can also enjoy a cozy bar area that serves wine and beer. We stayed in a king suite and were pleasantly surprised by its spaciousness and comfort. The room was exceptionally clean, well appointed, and very comfortable. While some of the décor may be considered slightly dated, it was still attractive and everything was in excellent working order. The standout feature of our stay was the staff. From the moment we arrived until the morning we departed, every employee was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and eager to help, making our experience especially enjoyable."

"Cute, cozy, comfortable! The Treehouse was perfect for our stay. Everything was spotlessly clean, and it is thoughtfully and intentionally appointed with everything you need and some nice extras as well. It is beautifully decorated and very well-maintained. Situated in a quiet neighborhood a short drive to Lynchburg and Liberty University. If our travels take us that way again, we will definitely stay here!"

"My husband and I stayed for three nights at Longacre. The owner is very kind. The house is spacious, but I did find it to be a little dated. We stayed in the manor room which was very big but seems like it was decorated from the early 90s. Also, there was no option to lower the temperature in the room, so I had to use a fan from the closet to try to cool the room down. The grounds behind the house are beautiful and peaceful."

"Such a great and unique place to stay. We loved the peace and quiet. Our dogs loved the cattle and farm smells. It was like their own sniff spot, which quickly tired them out after a long day of traveling in the car. Also, the price we paid for a place that was truly pet friendly (we travel with crates for our dogs to stay in when leave the rental, but no carpet and minimal things for nosy dogs to get into plus open floor space) was far superior to any hotel or any other pet friendly rental I’ve stayed at so far. My only suggestions are to bring a flash light and bug spray if you plan to walk your dogs at dusk/night.There was a citronella candle provided on the front porch but I couldn’t carry that around. 10/10 would book again! This place will be my go to spot when I travel with my pets to visit friends in Lynchburg!"

"You're not going to find a much more unique experience than spending the night in a beautifully renovated grain bin, listening to the rain tap against the metal roof, and waking up to cows grazing in the fields just across the road!Our family had the pleasure of spending an extended weekend at the Grain Bin House, and we had a wonderful experience. The hosts were extremely kind and attentive throughout our stay. It's clear they've been doing this for a while, as every amenity we could have needed was readily available to us. The home decor was charming, the house was clean, and the chairs were so comfortable that we fell asleep in them more than once during our stay. We (and our cat) cannot wait to come back and spend more time at the Grain Bin House!"

"Bingham House was a beautifully decorated and renovated historic home! The beds and linens were so comfortable, front porch so peaceful to sit on each morning, and kitchen well equipped for cooking a yummy breakfast each day. I especially enjoyed walking the neighborhood each morning and checked out the local bookstore and coffee shop! The hosts were easy to communicate with and welcoming. Arrival was easy and smooth. Fun games and books to enjoy are provided as well. Comfy living area, couches and chairs. Thank you for a relaxing weekend as we were here to celebrate a wedding in the area!"
