![Vajdahunyad Castle is an exhibition castle in the City Park in Budapest. It was built between 1896 and 1908 as part of the Millennial Exhibition which celebrated 1000 of the Hungarian Empire. The castle blends a number of different architectural styles including Romanesque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Baroque.

The oldest part of the castle is the Romanesque style which reflects the architecture of the 11th - 13th centuries. The replica of the Portal of the Church of Jak (pictured here) was chosen as a representation the Romanesque style found in western Hungary.
