Welcome to The Nest, a charming Scottish cottage tucked away on the southern edge of Errol in the picturesque Carse of Gowrie, just 17 mins from Perth and 26 mins from Dundee. Explore local gems like Cairn O’Mohr Winery nearby. Our cozy retreat features 2 inviting bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a beautiful living room, a fully equipped kitchen, a delightful dining area. Split over two floors, this charming cottage with attractive decor throughout and a warm ambience is the ideal accommodation for your dreamy gateway. It is ideal for two couples, a family of four or a group of friends wanting to get the best out of their vacation!

LIVING ROOM, DINING & KITCHEN:  
The charming upstairs living room has stunning views and everything you might need to keep yourself busy, such as free WiFi, Freeview TV, DVD, books, games and DVDs at your disposal.  
  
The kitchen is fully equipped for creating your culinary delights, whether that's a meal or baking a cake! (tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, vinegar & olive oil are always stocked.) In addition, all required cleaning equipment is available, including a french press, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, oven, and gas hobs.  
  
Four guests can sit comfortably around the dining table and share a special moment over a delicious, home-cooked meal.   
  
BEDROOMS & BATHROOMS:  
The master bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed with en-suite attached, while the second bedroom offers two single beds. Beds are ‘sensaform’ and extremely comfortable.  
  
We have a separate family shower room at your disposal.   
  
OUTDOOR AREA:  
There is a charming garden where you can bask in the Scottish sun and enjoy the green surroundings. Also, the property is complete with outdoor furniture where you can share a delicious meal with your friends and family.   
  
Laundry and Extra Appliances  
The property is also equipped with an iron, ironing board, vacuum cleaner, washing machine, and tumble dryer for your convenience.  
  
The Nest, managed by Juniper Rentals, features a dedicated customer service team available daily from 9 AM to 10 PM, 365 days a year, ready to answer inquiries, assist during your stay, and provide recommendations for day trips. To ensure your comfort, we offer hotel-quality linens, towels, luxury soaps and shampoo, and professional cleaning services.  
  
Guests will have access to the entire cottage.  
There is one locked cupboard within the boiler cupboard area in the living room.  
  
Guests will have access to free parking at the property.  
The property is split between two floors (ground floor & 1st floor) and no lift is available.  
  
There is one flight of stairs within the property.

A diverse landscape makes The Nest a perfect place to explore whilst enjoying the fresh air. Look out for deer, red squirrels, kingfishers etc. Circular walking trails lead from the cottage down to a wooded bank at the edge of the River Tay, first above reed beds and later above the watery tidal flats.  
Perth is a 17-minute drive, brimming with art galleries, beautiful gardens, museums, arts, crafts and farmers' markets (depending on the day) and great places to eat, while Dundee is only a short 26-minute drive from the property. There is a wide variety of places to explore in Dundee, such as the unique V&A Design Museum and The Discovery, where you can visit the Antarctic explorer Robert Falcon Scott’s ship.   
  
FISHING:  
Tayandearntrust. org and Taysalmon. co. uk both provide interesting and helpful information and will link you to Willowgate Activity Centre (fishing and outdoor adventures), located just below the Friarton Bridge as you travel west into Perth or for a boating trip (down the Tay from Perth to the V&A).   
  
Leave your car at The Nest and take one of the regular buses to either Perth or Dundee. For beach lovers, the east coast is a short drive away!  
  
If you are planning your dreamy wedding, nearby you will find plenty of wedding venues. The nearest one is Errol Park.

Juniper Rentals wants you to have a fantastic stay, and we encourage you to make yourself at home! There are, of course, a few things we politely ask guests to note before their arrival and throughout their stay:  
– Strictly no smoking, no parties, no pets  
– Dispose of rubbish appropriately.  
– Keep the property clean and tidy.  
– Please wash the kitchen items used for check-out would be appreciated.  
– Quiet hours are between 10pm and 8am. So please keep the noise down and respect the neighbours.  
– Please remember to close all windows & doors.   
– Please return the keys to the key safe and secure the safe when leaving.  
– Careful attention to the keys is extremely important. Guests are responsible for any additional costs resulting from misplaced keys or locksmith call-outs.
