Sleep 16! Come and enjoy a relaxed time away at our beautiful, 2900 square foot, newly remodeled home on 105 acre Oxbow Lake! Comfortably sleeping 16, our home offers all the space you'll need to gather together and make lasting memories. We offer 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths, and gorgeous views from almost every angle. Three of the bedrooms are on the upper level. The primary bedroom overlooks the lake and offers a queen size bed, the west bedroom offers a private full bathroom with step in shower, a queen size bed and a trundle with two twin beds, and the middle bedroom offers a queen size bed and bunk bed with two twin beds. The second full bathroom offering a bathtub and shower is also located on the upper level. Tucked away on the upper level, you will also find a cozy reading nook. It's sure to be a hit with the youngsters! The walk-out basement doubles as the 4th bedroom and makes for the perfect hangout for all ages offering a foosball table, Smart TV and two twin over full bunk sets. The main level sunroom offers a daybed for an additional sleeping accommodations. Amongst the expansive open floor plan of the main level, spacious upper level, cozy reading nook, and the walkout basement/game room/fourth bedroom there is plenty of space for all to enjoy. For your comfort and convenience our home is equipped with high speed Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a gas fireplace, main floor washer and dryer, dishwasher, and a second Smart TV located in the living room. We also have a Generac Generator, so you never have to worry about loosing power if a bad storm hits the area during your stay! The half bath, located on the main level is handicap accessible. We also provide a high chair and pack n play for those traveling with young children. Outside, you have your own private beach/campfire area with a rowboat, canoe, 4 kayaks, a dock, and complete freedom to enjoy private Oxbow Lake. We provide ample firewood, so no need to buy it elsewhere. Oxbow Lake is 100 feet deep, and has excellent fishing year round. While the lake is perfect for canoeing/kayaking and passing the time gathered around the lake front, it is not very suitable for swimming due to the vegetation that grows along the frontage. There is no public boat launch on the lake, but you may bring your own trolling motor for the row boat. The deck overlooking the lake provides a gas grill and outdoor dining accommodations. If you'd like to see other sights, Ludington is only 12 minutes away, with the new Stix restaurant/bar, Jamesport Brewery, or Ludington's own House of Flavors, where it all started. Pentwater is 10 minutes, and Ludington State Park is 20 minutes. Several Lake Michigan beaches are located within 10 - 15 minutes including Ludington's Stearns Park Beach, Summit Park, Buttersville Park, and Pentwater Beach. There are also many local golf courses, winery's, restaurants, and much more. Visit the S.S. Badger, the only coal powered passenger steam ship in the United States, or stroll down Pentwater's quaint Main Street, with it's many shops and the famous Brown Bear restaurant. We especially enjoyed the private sandy area and cozy campfire setup. The kids had a blast kayaking on the small lake right by the house. We had an absolutely amazing stay at this beautiful home outside Pentwater, Michigan. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the peaceful setting surrounded by acres of private woods—it felt like our own secluded retreat.The house itself was spotless and felt brand new, with fresh finishes and beautiful, modern furniture throughout. The rooms are incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room for everyone to spread out and relax. The views were spectacular—we enjoyed both sunrise and sunset over the lake, which made every day feel magical. The fire pit area was a favorite hangout, especially with free firewood provided (a great bonus!). Inside, the cozy fireplace made evenings extra relaxing. Fast, reliable internet kept us connected when needed, and the ample parking made it easy for everyone to come and go.We also took full advantage of the kayaks to explore the peaceful lake, and the quiet, natural surroundings made it an unforgettable experience. There was so much wildlife around including Eagles and deer and we really enjoyed taking it all in.Truly one of the best vacation rentals we’ve ever stayed at—clean, comfortable, private, and so thoughtfully equipped. The view of the lake and the sunrise in the mornings were breathtaking. The house was equipped with everything you can imagine and spotlessly cleaned. It’s roomy and spacious and not overly cluttered! Nice bedrooms sizes, nice and clean bedding and towels and the kitchen was nicely stocked with everyday utensils and appliances. There were plenty of towels and washcloths so everyone could shower and not have to wait to do laundry. It is probably the cleanest rental we have stayed in, but I still had to “clean” when we arrived. The corners, creases and under things had cob webs and bugs gathered. I vacuumed the perimeter and corners of every room, under and around the beds, and on and under the long white floor “vents” as there were bugs and spiders. I do know and understand that we are surrounded by trees, nature and bugs but with some of the areas one could tell by the dust and webs that it has been passed over a few time. Other than that it was a great house for a large family to stay in! We were very pleased with our stay. Also the washer and dryer came in very handy as we did a lot of water activities. ##### Laura L.
