High Speed Internet: brand new network delivers 110-270 MBs, with 99.9% uptime and uninterrupted streaming HD Flat Screen TVs Everything you need in a home away from home and more! Recently updated with wall-to-wall wood look tile and new furniture. Wall to wall sliding glass doors and an adjacent picture window that wrap the living room filling it with light and a panoramic view of the gorgeous Gulf. There are equally gorgeous views of the Gulf from the master bedroom and master bath. This is truly the best way wake up and go to sleep at the beach. Choose your spot on the beach. Watch the goings on from the 11th floor, whether creative sandcastles and sand figures, or easily spot dolphins and other wildlife. The master bedroom has floor to ceiling sliding glass doors and a jetted tub with panoramic views, which allow you to watch the sun rise and set in privacy. Each bedroom has its own bath. A pub table and chairs centered on a picture window overlooking the gulf is a perfect place to drink coffee and contemplate what the day holds/wind down the day with a glass of wine while viewing the sunset. Kayaks and paddle boards are available for rental on the beach right in front of us, and bicycles and jet skis just down the street. Grocery shopping is easy with a Winn Dixie (2 mi.), Publix (2.8 mi) and Walmart (4 mi) just across the Navarre Causeway. The Navarre Beach Fishing Pier, the longest on the Gulf, is just a .4 mi stroll down the sugar-white sand beach. The pier complex includes a bar & grill, volleyball and live music. Only $1/person to walk or $7/person to fish all day long. Andy D's has a nice variety of Beach favorites, from shrimp tacos to great tuna dip; Sailor's Grille and Juana's Pagoda are also just a short stroll and feature great food and entertainment, as well as volleyball, jet ski and boat rentals. Marriott Springhill Suites is a .5 mi walk to the West, and has a very nice deck with fire pits and an upscale restaurant. Across Navarre Causeway are many favorite restaurants, including Dewey Destin's, a Shrimp Basket, Scooters Fish House, East Bay Crab House, TC's Front Porch, Yummy's, Alphys and the Grillhouse . Pensacola Beach extends the restaurant choices, with Shaggy's, The Grand Marlin, Frank & Lola's (at Margaritaville Hotel) and Peg Leg Pete's topping our list. Fort Walton has two of our favorite restaurants: award winning Clemenza's Italian and SeaLand. Situated between Ft Walton Beach to the east and Pensacola Beach to the west, we have both incredible natural beauty to share, as well as sightseeing. The State Park Beach is just to the east and the National Seashore to the west, with miles of pristine beach and sand dunes. The location, direct access to the beach, ease of secure parking, the layout of the condo, and the amazing balcony made it the perfect place for our family to spread out and enjoy. We also really appreciated that the kitchen was well stocked and that beach chairs, towels, toys, etc. were all provided. Everyone wished we had booked more nights/a longer stay. The bathrooms were updated and nice. The wood look tile floor was great and made sweeping up any sand easy. The kitchen was well appointed and had more than we need. The independent ice maker was nice although it scared me when it went through a clean or defrost cycle as it was really loud and vibrated the kitchen and master. It was only once during our stay so no big deal. The views and beach were awesome and we really appreciated that we already had two chairs and an umbrella with the rental company included. There were many books and games that we could enjoy if needed. Also some extra beach chairs/toys so we didn’t need to bring our own. The balcony was huge and the view was fantastic. We loved the huge pool at the complex. It was a pleasure working with the owners Loree and Joe Horton. They were very friendly and very easy to work with. We had one little minor issue with the master bedroom shower not draining properly on the first night there, but as soon as we contacted Loree and Joe, they immediately came over to the condo and took care of the problem. Even followed up with a visit from a plumber to ensure all was working properly. This was our first trip to Navarre Beach and we truly enjoyed our time at the condo and Navarre Beach as a whole. The sound of the waves from the 11th floor was wonderful. We greatly appreciated all the beach gear supplied by the owners - plenty of chairs, and additional large umbrella, boogie boards, toys, a good-sized cooler and beach towels. Having all of that supplied cinched the deal for us. The large icemaker adjacent to the fridge was great for loading the ice chest. Kitchen was very well stocked - we even had a hand mixer and large crock pot. Never had to wait to use charcoal grills downstairs (tip - use plenty of charcoal when it's windy). The 7 of us liked the large couch and dining room table, plus the large picnic table on the balcony. We ate out there frequently. What a treat! Walked to the pier at dusk to watch people fishing. From the pier, we saw sea life coming around to see what they could nab. There were sea turtles, a large dolphin, and large sting ray hanging out along the bottom. The owners were quick to reply and correct a concern we had. The condo is great with amazing views. Honestly, the owners had the best communication we have ever had, sending a welcome letter to explain everything about their condo and the area. The view is great! The condo is big enough for 7-8 adults. The location is good, close to most things you'll need. The shared pool is great -- probably the biggest we've ever encountered at beachfront condo complexes. Its size helps make visiting the pool (after the beach or in the evening) more attractive, as there is ample room for everyone. Being here for July 4th was great: evening fireworks at the nearby pier and a few launched by patriotic beach-goers! ##### Barbara R. Mar 12, 2007 #### Guestbook Comment This condo unit is lovely and very spacious. The many windows offer a magnificent view of the ocean, even from the master bath! Containing all the comforts of home, the furnishings include a washer & dryer and fully equipped kitchen. The dining table can accomodate a large group. It's just a short drive to great shopping and restaurants such as Cocodries and the Sailors Grill. The view is absolutely amazing, and is the reason we keep coming back to this area, as well as the Pensacola area in general. Overall our experience was a positive one and would hope the owners take to heart the items below- as that would make your property even better! Thanks for the great trip. PROS - The view! It's awesome. And something that was hard to leave. - Kitchen was well stocked and had everything that we needed for a week stay. - Location on the beach was great, and it's pretty close to restaurants, stores and other conveniences. - Under counter ice machine is a great addition to the kitchen - Internet was fast enough for what we needed (some light work, streaming, etc) - Loree was very responsive CONS - First and foremost, and the reason for the 4-star review instead of 5: the beds! The beds are worn out and very uncomfortable. They are also very "springy". All 4 beds need replaced. Others in our party felt the same way and while we lived through it, it was the running theme for the week. I would also note that the bedroom with the 2 beds (full/double size) in it are not for adults, as they are too small, especially if your over 6'. Two Twin XL's (or queens if theres room) would work way better in my opinion. We would happily pay more for a place with great beds. - Door locks on each of the bathrooms and bedrooms are worn out and need to be replaced. We were able to lock the hallway bathroom after some effort, but the bedroom with 2 beds was not able to lock at all. - The living room lounge chairs are different than the ones in the pictures, and are small for taller people. This resulted in us sitting at the table on the hard bench seating versus the lounges. - A panel piece fell off of the coffee table, and a white panel fell off of the master bathroom. From the process of online reservations to leaving on our last day could not have gone any smoother. Our entire family had so much relaxing fun.
