"The property is set in a stunning setting, opposite Blencathra, in a really quiet location. Unfortunately, however, the cottage has a rodent problem. "We have stayed here before and love the hotel. The only problem this time was that bar food is advertised and on the first full day we asked and were told there was none on offer.We had no alternative than to pay for one main course each. More food than we wanted at a much higher price."
