We found everything we needed, shared 2 bathrooms and an extra toilet and were very comfortable and warm this winter in the three generous bedrooms, comfortable roomy lounge and well appointed kitchen and dining area. We were able to buy early morning coffees and pastries across the road, drive to all the local wineries and have dinner at the local (on the corner) hotel. We were so impressed and highly recommend The White House for a luxury stay in the heart of Penola. The house is sympathetically restored with exquisite attention to detail throughout, from beautiful new bathrooms and a kitchen to all the furniture, furnishings, fittings and accessories. The sun drenched back deck and garden was delightful even during winter. All the little touches throughout the house such as fresh flowers and a complimentary bottle of local wine, made out stay incredibly pleasant. There’s plenty of space for families or three couples, ample heating and cooling throughout. An extremely well fitted kitchen and accessories. Thank you so much, we’ll be back! ##### Peter J.
