Staff member checked me in and welcomed us and showed me to the room upstairs a few freebies in room nice touch Room clean and quiet, bathroom plenty of room shower in bath We had issues with toilet randomly flushing then leaking at the tap so turned it off overnight In morning 730am partner showered said was hard to get temperature right but ok my shower 845am I turned hot water tap on and then water stopped nothing so aborted and had a bird bath instead! Reported to staff on checkout apparently hot water issues known need a new hot water system was comment

Location is excellent for access to southbank and the city. The tram is a 5 minute walk away. The Summitt coffee shop directly downstairs is very good. $10 coffee and toastie deal is well worth it. It gets busy so be prepared to wait. At check in Tony was so helpful when we realised the car space for the unit was only 1.9m high and we needed higher. He found a secure car space near by. Woolworths is very near with a bottle shop too all very reasonably priced. The unit was great for all 7 of us. We all loved our stay. However we do like to cook and found there wasn't enough pans n only small ones. Also the front door was pretty difficult to lock n open. The TV had lines down the picture. The washing machine didn't spin. None of these negatives affected our 4 night stay at the summitt. We would recommend it. Just wanted to give as much info as we could.
