There are multiple gathering /seating areas for family and friends to socialize with a covered porch, multiple living rooms, a very large dining table, and the modern eat-in kitchen. The hosts were very accommodating, and supplied everything from towels/linens, soap/shampoo, toiletries, cleaning supplies, dishes, virtually any kitchen appliance or utensils you would need to make a home-cooked meal. Could have used a few more coffee cups but I guess we all liked our coffee/tea! We hung out on the lovely porch a good amount of the time.The trickle of the river added a soothing sound. I didn't think we would need the playground out back but we had a couple of little ones visit one day and loved it! It was so hard to leave we asked to stay another day! Perfectly centered in town near everything we needed. The check in/out was wonderful and easy as we had a large event that morning and needed to head out quickly. The only unexpected thing was the rooms with 3 beds. We thought it would be a bunk and a double, but it was a bunk bed with a twin top bunk, double bottom bunk and then an additional twin trundle you could pull out from under the double.
