That's exactly what I expected it to be. They let me check in early and check out late

The hotel is a beautiful old historic building with a pretty grand lobby. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The Italian restaurant and bar was good. Wait staff were very nice. My room was pretty small, but in an older historic building I can’t complain. The bed is very comfortable, the shower was nice.

Breakfast runs out we came down 9:00 am even the coffee was out

The staff were all very welcoming and pleasant! However, the room lacked darkening curtains, which meant that the parking lot lights made the room incredibly bright all night and, thus, made it difficult to sleep.

The power was out at the hotel, but the front desk manager did an amazing job getting our group and another group into our rooms. He was running all over the hotel making sure rooms were vacant and clean then letting us into the rooms with his master key. That guy deserves a raise or a bonus! I can't really comment on the cleanliness, amentities or anything else because we couldn't see anything without a flashlight, but it seemed like a well kept hotel.
