"We really enjoyed our stay at the Astor Hotel. The staff were wonderful, and the family room perfect for our needs. The breakfast buffet was lovely, and the setting exceptional, with a fabulous view of the Acropolis. The location is excellent for all of the archeological sites and to feel part of this vibrant city."

"We would stay here again. The room was a little small, but that’s only because we only slept there. Showering was a bit tricky because water got everywhere and made the rest of the bathroom slippery."

"Staff weren’t welcoming. The room wasn’t clean and still had rubbish in the bin and stuffed at the back of the bed/settee. Asked for a glass for my room to have a drink of wine - was scoffed at and had a paper cup tossed over. And it’s in possibly one of the roughest areas in Athens. We were followed by men who were shouting after us and following me and my daughter. I stayed one night and paid to move to another hotel which was a totally different experience. "
