Spring Acre Log Cabin

In a beautiful country setting, this log cabin offers a relaxing atmosphere and tranquil setting next to many acres of woodland with hiking trails. Located only three miles from Historic Strasburg Pa. Very close attractions include, Strasburg Railroad, Sight and Sound Theater, American Music Theater, Tanger Outlets, and many thrift and antique shops.
Located in the heart of Amish country, there many places to experience the fine dining of many Amish recipes. To list a few, Katie's Kitchen, Diener's Restaurant, Agape Cafe and Grill and The Speckled Hen, just to name a few.
For a rainy day there is a pool table, air hockey table, dart board, exercise equipment, and many board games. Two large screen televisions with many movies to choose from. WIFI is not available at this time. we are trying to find a supplier that has signal in this area.

We loved this house! Was perfect for the kids inside had gates at top and bottom of stairs which was huge with the kids. Also loved the outdoor area and that it was fenced in for the kids! Close to Dutch wonderland and cherry crest farm. Ken is the best and so accommodating. Highly recommend!

The house,the property is gorgeous and peaceful I stood there for 3 night and every nights I soak in the tub big enough for 2 the ower Ken is a very nice man Its a great place to stay to get away from the hustle and noises of the city great place for photos to my daughter inlaw took some pregnancy photos done right there with our phone will love to stay again

Paradise in Paradise

Our stay at the Spring Acre Log Cabin was fantastic. This home beautifully marries the look of a log cabin with all modern amenities (and more!). Our children loved the game room and large spaces, and we enjoyed the jet tub and quiet locale. The location was ideal for kid-friendly activities in Lancaster Co., and the house was perfectly equipped for our toddler and infant too. Ken was a gracious and helpful host when we needed him. Our family is looking forward to coming back again!

Second Stay

This was our 2nd time to stay. Ken is a great host with all the accommodations you'll ever need. Location is central to everything Lancaster has to offer yet it's far enough away to enjoy the peace & quite. Great place for a large family & includes activities to entertain the kids. Outstanding quiet property

This place is awesome! Plenty of room for everyone. This is in the heart of Lancaster Amish country and the click dry clack of horse carriages can be heard from the spacious porch. There is a full game room in the basement and we used this as a separate bedroom with a cot that was provided. Ken was a fantastic and very friendly host. He was willing to provide anything we needed. I wish we had more time to spend here.

Breath of Fresh Air!

My family and I were in town for a wedding and booked this house as it was centrally located. I am so glad we did! Nestled in Amish country, we were treated to beautiful vistas, quaint Amish horse drawn carriages, delicious local restaurants and more. The home is the cleanest, most well appointed VRBO home we have ever had the pleasure of visiting. It has everything you need to feel right at home. The jacuzzi soaking tub in the master suite is amazing! We made breakfast every morning after visiting a local market. I was so excited to see the very nice skillets (no scratched up T-fal like we usually see at rental homes). The basement has a pool table and an air hockey table as well as a tv and comfy couch. Our young adults loved it! The laughter billowing up the stairs was heart warming. There is also satellite television with lots of channels including local news.The owner, Ken, met us there and showed us around on our first day. He gave us excellent advice on places to go to experience local flavors. He also helped us with a wedding emergency when we needed to get plates delivered overnight for the reception. He is such a gentleman and embodies hospitality! We loved our time in Paradise! We will be back!

The cabin is very nicely decorated, plenty of room for the 5 of us (3 adults and 2 toddlers). Accommodations clean and spacious. We are hoping to visit the cabin again. The location is ideal for Dutch Wonderland, Sight and Sound, as well as, the Strasburg Railway Station.The property owner is accessible to answer questions prior to and after arrival.We truly enjoyed our stay!

Amazing Weekend Getaway

Ken was on site as soon as we arrived and extremely friendly and helpful. The cabin was super clean and comfortable. It was tucked nicely into the woods and close enough to all the attractions. Noah at sight and sound was incredible. There is so much to do and not enough time. We will most definitely be coming back to visit and hope to stay here again! Beautiful, clean, kind owner

Couldnt have asked for a better location for our little wedding of some family and friends. Its a gorgeous, quiet area and the cabin was very clean, cozy, and accommodating. It is even bigger and better in person than in the photos. Ken treated us like family and made sure we had everything. We are so happy we found this property and so grateful for the kind owner!

A great respite

We stayed here while visiting family in Lancaster County. It was wonderful to return at the end of busy days to have quiet time for ourselves. The home is beautiful, well set up for guests, everything you need in a home away from home. The wrap around porch was a bonus for the quiet evenings in this country setting. The host was vey attentive and accommodating.

Simply Amazing!

Ken and his cabin were absolutely amazing. Ken helped us get checked in and was there for us with any questions. If we ever visit the amish country again or just need a getaway, this will definitely be at the top of our list!
