Though built in 1920, the Corner Cottage has been renovated to provide you with all the comforts of home. Take a journey back in time to the days when Butch Cassidy roamed the area, his childhood home is just down the road. Tourists from all over the world come to Bryce Canyon, just 20 miles from the Cottage, for hiking, photo-ops and spectacular views. Grab a bike, UTV or your hiking boots and hit one of many trails in the area, the scenery is majestic. The space Appreciate the coming together of old-time charm and modern luxury. Many of the rooms in the cottage have beautiful pine floors that are original to the home. With 4 bedrooms and 2 full baths, there’s plenty of room to stretch out and relax. The master bedroom has a king-size bed, with an attached bath. Each of the other 3 bedrooms shares the second bath and each bedroom can sleep up to 3 guests comfortably. The Wifi is 1 gig Guest access The whole house is yours. Other things to note With more living space than you’d expect, you’ll love this home away from home as you relax in the comfortable living space, play games in the large yard, grill with friends, or prepare a gourmet meal in the newly renovated kitchen. Back porch with a picnic table and grill was a great place to chill out after full days of hiking. Kitchen was nicely stocked with everything needed for 6 of us over a full week's stay. The only thing is it was pretty hot downstairs during the day, as there is only ac units upstairs. Cleaner claimed we broke a lamp that we never touched. Owner did resolve the problem. It was very clean and bigger than we expected. It had a well stocked kitchen and you’re able to do all of your own food. Fast Wi-Fi and lots of blankets. No AC, but it was far from needed in May. We chose this location so that we would be in close proximity to Bryce Canyon. This worked put perfectly, plus there are endless options for other things to do in the area (many that we ran out of time to explore!). We never got a chance to check put the trails in Red Canyon (there are many). We did check out Kodachrome State Park— well worth the drive! For anyone planning to rent this place, take note that it is managed by the owner vs a property mgmt co— this is a HUGE PLUS for us.. the owner has put a lot of effort into making this place clean and comfortable, and he has added a lot of personal touches.
