Palomino Beach Tours and Activities

Zero for communication - called multiple times, no answer. Emailed returning their email, no response. They are in a difficult location, and being so close to airport, no taxis want to take you there and at night try and rip you off. Got there, no working water. No air conditioning, no fans, no offer of water bottles or anything else. Went for breakfast after few hours sleep, not even milk for coffee or other basic items. Everyone kept asking how stay was, told them and they smiled and just walked off. 11am checkout sucks for late night arrivals typical of MDE airport. And the probable owner doing Tai Chi at entrance and taking no interest in customer issues was off putting. Not good for business travel. Pity, beautiful venue. Great I guess if you’re looking for a hostel.

Great stay at Casona del Colegio. The hotel is beautiful and room was spacious and comfortable. But our room faced the street and despite being soundproof it was quite loud at night with party goers, shouting and music blaring (it’s not the quietest street in town). Even in the morning the city’s cleaning crew made lots of noise. We also had sporadic issues with no hot water and low water pressure. The staff were always incredibly kind and helpful though. Offered solutions like earplugs (which helped), changing rooms to a courtyard facing one and fixed the water immediately when we called
