- Set in the heart of Padstow, this cheerful cottage makes a wonderful retreat for families, friends and couples seeking light, comfortable holiday accommodation. Perfect for exploring the quaint villages, secluded beaches and magnificent countryside of North Cornwall, the property has ample space for up to six guests and is just 200 metres from the town’s bustling harbour. Usefully located at the edge of the old town, this tastefully furnished getaway has been lovingly decorated in cool neutral tones, and has parking space for two cars, spacious main living areas and a charming patio.
Set in a slightly elevated position, the cottage features a charming lounge/diner. With a large, comfortable corner sofa, Smart TV and DVD player, the bright, light-filled lounge is perfect for everyone to settle back in the evening, chat about the day and watch a movie. The delightful dining area is perfect for sharing a celebratory meal which you can cook in the welcoming and beautifully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, you will find a refreshing bathroom and three cosy bedrooms, each with a Smart TV: a cheerful double, a sweet twin and a cheerful bunk bedroom suitable for children. Outside, the back patio has garden furniture and makes a lovely spot to sit in the shade and enjoy a spot of al fresco dining on a sunny afternoon.
At the mouth of the Camel Estuary, Padstow has a number of beautiful beaches and is renowned for its famous restaurants, many making a speciality of the seafood brought in daily at the nearby harbour. A popular spot for walkers following the Saint’s Way and the Camel Trail, the town offers a range of water sports and boat trips. Local attractions include Trevose Golf and Country Club, Pencarrow House and Garden, and Camel Creek Family Theme Park, all within 12 miles.
