« The room was large, clean, and very aesthetically pleasing. We got the top room 108 for a family of 4\. It’s hard to find accommodation large enough but this was really nice. Kids on mattresses on floor. The manager owns 3 hotels and had everything running smoothly. Shower hot, soap and shampoo supplied. Brilliant chefs who run everything. I loved my chai and our meals. They even cooked me a requested dinner at breakfast time as I’m GF. Very nice place. Balcony on room. Great views from...

Le personnel est formidable.La chambre était spacieuse avec un magnifique lit,claire,et calme malgré l'agitation de la ville.La salle de bain est correcte et propre. Très bons petits déjeuners qui se passent sur le toit avec une vue magnifique sur le fort. Nous y avons dîné tous les soirs. Très bonne wifi Je recommande aussi le café au rdc ,c'est très agréable de s'y arrêter »

« The hotel stay was excellent. The owner is very polite, helpful and maintains a friendly approach throughout the visit. He also provided proper guidance whenever needed. The rooms and bathroom are neat and clean, and the service is very responsive, even during late night even mid night also. The location is close to Ghanta Ghar, which is convenient for travel. We like guidebooks but we don’t follow them slavishly. 

To get our exclusive images we often have to gain access to restricted or off-limits areas, sometimes even risking our safety.

You’ll often see us leaning backwards over the edge of a cliff or a high wall to get that perfect camera angle. 

To get this shot of Ranisar Talab lake behind the majestic Mehrangarh fort of the blue city of Jodhpur in Rajasthan, India, we had to step outside of what would be most people’s comfort zones. 

We had to traverse a wild, rocky desert landscape, navigate a steep incline, pass through a tiny doorway in an ancient crumbling fort wall, and then clamber up a steep slope of rubble and loose rocks to get up on top of that very same fort wall. 

Once at the very top of the wall looking out over the lake, I had to back up to the very edge of the wall and avoid falling to my death to the ground over 30 metres below, just to get that perfect shot. 

This was an off-limits part of the Mehrangarh fort complex where the vast majority of tourists almost never venture!

Epic shots often have epic stories behind them!  We wanted to bring this issue to light, as many people don’t understand that if you want to take extraordinary travel photos, you sometimes have to be willing to do extraordinary things and step far outside of your comfort zone.
