Minus one detail that I perhaps may have missed, but was not a big deal. I recommend coming in a SUV or truck, the driveway crosses down into a small creek. As well as driving around this area like Panther Creek rd, 4x4/ SUV/ truck is recommended. Séjour de 3 nuits en mai 2025 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Ray K. 13 mai 2025 Points forts : Propreté #### Secluded Paradise in the woods Definitely recommend some type of 4x4 vehicle to reach this destination as it is a rugged off-road driveway with a shallow water crossing to reach the cabin. I loved how secluded this was, probably the most secluded a cabin has been that I have stayed at thus far. Amazing stream that runs along the property that always had an amazing sound you could hear outside. The inside was fairly up to date and very clean. Newer appliances, wi-fi, and satellite TV if you so choose. A few small grievances: almost every amenity was provided, unfortunately there was no facial tissue (Kleenex) and as somebody with allergies this was sorely missed and I was forced to use paper towels to blow my nose. I wished the windows had screens so I could have them open to hear the amazing stream sounds but this unfortunately was not the case. The metal roof was very loud at night with what I believe was squirrels crawling around on it. Luckily the back bedroom provided mostly decent sound insulation from this. The first night I was awoken to what I thought sounded like talking, but disregarded it. The second night sleeping I was awoken again to what I thought sounded like somebody closing an exterior door. Not sure if it was something crawling around outside making these sounds but it did make sleeping difficult, I am a light sleeper. ##### Ray K. We saw a deer in the yard one evening and could not have asked for a better cabin to get away for the weekend. The owners were very nice and easy to communicate with. The cabin was the perfect location with the right amount of rustic and remoteness but still plenty of convenience and comfort. Recommend to plan your day trips within 20-30 miles drive, plenty to see and no need to spend all day in your car! ##### Florian W. My husband and I visited here with our kids, ages 4, 7, 10\. Everyone loved it! The kids stayed in/around the creek almost all day every day, and the cabin was perfect for playing games and watching movies. They provide lots of games, so that was a huge bonus. Gary was communicative and answered any questions promptly. It was so clean! Really close to Oark General Store for a great lunch. The cabin was great and had everything we needed. No cell service was a blessing. We had great WiFi so could still entertain the kids at night.
