Enjoying nature
Only complaints where broken fan which was unfortunate but otherwise this is a great place to getaway and enjoy nature
Not comfort hotel but perfect if you want to get out and lose touch with the rat race. Owners and staff are amazing
Well worth the trip and we would definitely go again

Great place to say between Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp. Owners are very helpful and accommodating. Cottages are old and quaint but in a very peaceful setting.

This is a lovely place to stay, only 6.5km off route 62 but feels like you’re deep in the Bush. Abundant bird life. The cottage is comfortable, the kitchen well-equipped and the bathroom very nice with soap, shower gel, etc provided. Hosts very welcoming and friendly. Will definitely stay here again as I’m already regretting only booking for one night!

homely peaceful cottages
We stayed as a group at Red Stone in a number of cottages. It is a beautiful location, quiet and relaxed. The cottages were well equipped and the host was fantastic, very helpful and checked we had everything we needed. There is a lovely braai firepit by the pool which we enjoyed immensely as a group and our host organised and cleaned everything for us. A great stay!
