This property is conveniently located a short drive from Ottawa and close to bus routes. Its also across the street from a large shopping mall and many restaurants. Our room was clean and updated, however there was a smell of old smoke when we arrived. Not much selection of food for breakfast, mostly breads. The staff were friendly and pool was very nice to have access to. Overall, good value for the price and would consider staying here again.

Upon check in we could not find the front desk staff for about 30 mins. It smell extremely horrible strong urine smell mixed with smoke. I suggest you close. Will never go there again

The location was in a nice area. Close to lots of restaurants and the mall. There was some construction going on in the hotel, but it did not affect our stay at all. The beds were comfortable and the vinyl flooring was nice. The staff was very friendly and pleasant to deal with, there was some language barrier at times (we speak little French), but with patience and a smile and we were able to figure it out. We were pleasantly surprised to see the breakfast was reopened, as all the communication we received from Expedia said it was still closed. In the outside it looks like an older hotel, but they are doing a nice job of remodeling the inside. We would stay here again.

It was a nice and clean property. Fairly quiet. Parts were under renovation so we could not use the pool which sucked but understandable. Some of the receptionists were very kind but others seemed to have a bit of an attitude towards people who were not from Quebec. Overall a decent stay very close to downtown Ottawa. Not a terrible price. The breakfast was mediocre. Nothing warm to eat offered. Just different bread you could get toasted but because their toaster is very slow and there are lots of people, you will wait FOREVER to get it done. Might be worth going to find breakfast somewhere else, even across the street at the mall or restaurants around.

Very good place for staycation with family. Les Promenades Gatineau mall right opposite to this place. Many dining options around the area. I would most definitely return again with family. P.S. Breakfast options are good and self serve not pre-packed. Don't listen to negative reviews.
