They assisted me to get on a solo dive when most tourist spots only sold packages with a minimum of two. Oh the beach access is across the street and you have to pay an access fee. The property is also very very close to an incredibly busy road which doesn't get quiet at all. You'll hear trucks and buses going past all night and there's little to no sound proofing. Only, downside was the hotel is right next to (3 feet) from three roosters who at 4 am every morning and throughout the afternoon found it necessary to have a contest at who can crow the loudest. If you plan on sleeping, a white noise machine and ear plugs wont drown out the roosters, but they'll help. Additionally, the hotel is right off of the street where you'll hear trucks, cars and motorcycles most of the evening. So, if sleep is your goal stay away; but for whale shark swimming it's perfect. Very close and they arrange a driver to take you there, check you in and bring you back for 20 pesos.
