My room was filthy, with yellow grime on the walls, a weird smell, and mold in the shower. The front desk was very apologetic when I brought up these concerns and that was very appreciated and they offered to upgrade me for the night. While the upgrade was still dirty, I chose to stay since it was already late at night. I woke up the next morning with bites all over my legs. I couldn’t get out of there faster. Onsen was nice, not crowded and water was hot. Small hotel, only 10 floors, maybe around 15 rooms per floor. Staff was friendly, helpful in sending luggage to airport. Convenient loocation, just few steps to subway station, and nice simple directions from staff. It is on one one of the shopping allies in the heart of Namba area, very close to the train station but you don't hear the noise in the hotel room. The staff is kind, professional, and makes every best effort to communicate in different language (English) but they do face challenges. However, with google translate you can get around this issue. The room was very small but clean. The hotel is very basic. The rooms are dirty, with stains on the walls and in the bathroom. The staff was rude at check in, and charged a ¥1000 “onsen tax”. When we said that we weren’t planning to use the onsen they claimed all the water in the showers was hot spring water and so we had to pay. The room was small, but sort of standard for budget hotels, and the mattress was very uncomfortable.
