Offering spacious, fully air conditioned accommodation, beautifully furnished - great, central location close to I-4, US-27 & HWY192! 'Key Villa - The Disney Retreat is located on a popular rental community of Sandy Ridge, Davenport, Orlando. Sandy Ridge, Davenport is a vacation community set within lush conservation and is ideally situated within easy reach of the Central Florida popular theme parks and attractions (Disney's Main Gates are only about a 15 minute drive away). This nicely landscaped community also has its own kiddies play area for those 'little ones' who still have plenty of energy after a day at the theme parks. Being close to great routes such as Interstate 4 and Hwy 192 makes planning those all important days out to parks, beaches or shopping that much easier. Florida's beautiful coastline is also within easy reach and has many great beaches to offer, from the quiet white sands of St Pete's to the fast pace of Clearwater, and with one of the closest (Cocoa Beach) being just over an hour's drive away, they are definitely well worth a visit. Although golfers will be spoilt for choice when it comes to golf courses, Sandy Ridge is within a few minutes drive of the popular Champions Gate Golfing Resort offering some great championship courses to suit all handicaps. A supermarket and various other shops opened in 2008 within a couple of minutes drive of our vacation rental home with additional shops and some fine restaurants located at a little further up the road at Champions Gate, with much more coming soon ('Down Town' Champions Gate). The brand new Posner Park shopping mall which is located just off US-27 has just opened its doors to some of the new shops with more opening from mid 2008 and throughout 2009 and with Hwy 192 offering an abundance of gift shops, food outlets, helicopter rides, a variety of fun family activities there is just so much fun to be had by all. Traveled as a family with mature (18) children. Everyone had their own space, plenty of room and all the comforts they needed. Home is well supplied and suited our needs. There is lots nearby for shopping, eating and entertainment. You do need a vehicle to get to those places but it's worth the drive. With a farm in the backyard, we enjoyed the privacy it gave us in the pool area. Plus it was fun to watch the animals as they grazed. We are no strangers to Florida villas, and have stayed on Sandy Ridge before. Firstly, the owners could not have been more accommodating. They responded immediately to any questions, were incredibly flexible, and fantastic communicators. Then the villa, the photos do not do the place justice. It is far far nicer than the photos give it credit for. The villa is stunning, usual wear and tear you would expect, but incredibly well equipped and comfortable. Very quiet and plenty of space. Close to local attractions but far enough away to have some downtime. Recreation area in the garage was really neat. It was very hot while we were there but the hot tub seemed cool. Since the ice machine wasn’t working a few ice cube trays would be helpful. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Pool was warm when we arrived (as requested) and everything was as it should be. Comfortable beds, great lounge, good kitchen, specious villa, very quiet all the time, especially peaceful at night. Overlooks a farm, never any noise. Convenient location - 10/15 mins from supermarkets, shops, Longhorn steakhouse (must visit), Championsgate (restaurant Zen, must visit), Olive garden etc. 25 mins to Kissimmee, 35 mins to Disney Springs - all taking account of traffic queues. For the first time ever, I found the property even nicer than the photos showed! This home was quite large and we enjoyed being able to spread out. However, when we wanted to enjoy a meal together, there was a large dining table; and the living room hosts a large comfy sectional. We stayed here to enjoy the Disney parks, and each one was around 20 minutes or less away. We’ll be very happy to rebook this property in the near future! ##### Jessica M.
