  • Wonderful vacation home with air conditioning. Max 4 persons.
    The property is located at the sunny garden with facing the pool at popular and cosy 'Camacuri Residence Resort'. Approxemately 8 minutes walk to 'Reflexions' Beach.

    The house is equipped with all conveniences needed for a fabulous vacation on beautiful Aruba in the Cariben. For your convenience there are 4 beach chairs and various cool boxes in the house for you to take to the beach. Various cooling elements are located in the freezer. 'Camacuri Residence' also has an ice cube machine free to use.

    The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare your breakfast, lunch, dinner or tasty snacks.
    Good sleep is essential for a great holiday. The 'kingsize' box spring beds are large, comfortable and equipped with luxury top-deck mattresses.
    Nothing better than a good hot shower!
    Our renovated bathroom is comfortably equipped with a hot water supply in the shower. Worth mentioning because this is not obvious in Aruban homes.

    Our 'hotel service' means: daily cleaning, fresh towels and the beds are made for you daily. The beds are changed twice a week. With the 'bath towel service' you can, at the reception and against a small deposit, borrow beach towels for the pool or for the beach. (more space in your suitcase for other things).
    So with us you'll find a real relaxing vacation without mass tourism.

    The lovely 'Reflexions Beach' is an 8-minute walk away. The center of Oranjestad is a 15 minutes' walk away.
    Here you will find the lively marina, shops, restaurants, bars and terraces.

    You have a private terrace with garden table and garden chairs. At the swimming pool is a sun terrace with plenty of sun beds and chairs.

    Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the resort and of course in our vacation home

    'Camacuri Residence' is a hospitable, small complex with excellent service.
    The helpful and professional team at 'Camacuri Residence' will do all they can to make your stay a fantastic vacation! During your stay they will answer questions you might have and help you where needed. Camacuri's motto: you arrive as a guest and you leave as a friend.

    With us, the rent includes water and electricity consumption so no expensive surprises at the end of your vacation.
    (based on an average of 7 hours of air conditioning use per day / night.)

    In the immediate vicinity you will find a supermarket and a bakery. For those who want to use public transport (AruBus), the bus stop is just around the corner from 'Camacuri Residence'.

    We have good agreements with a reputable and reliable local car rental company.
    As an extra service we can put you in contact with them. If desired, the car can be delivered at the vacation home upon arrival and can be picked up again in consultation with the car rental company. The costs, Awg 75 - (+/- € 39,-) per 24 hours, tank full / full system and fully insured are very competitive. The rental cars are 4 door sedans and never over 4 years old.

This is our 3rd time staying here, we seem to always come back! The staff are especially friendly and helpful with anything we ask of them our host Wilfred always has everything ready for us before we even arrive. We hope to be back again next year and stay here!

Amazing trip with a totall relaxing palce to stay

Camacuri Residence - Really nice place to relax, nice and quite with full set of kitchen stuff. Surprised us, it has room service. Walking distance to Surfside Beach, and downtown area. Overall we had great time there!

We really enjoyed having coffee in the morning on the patio. The only thing that can be improved is the condo beach chairs. They were not beach chairs, they were camp chair's that do not reclinin. Otherwise we loved our stay.

Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen im Camacuri Apartment. Alles sauber, alle sehr freundlich. Sehr ruhige Anlage. In max. 10 Minuten ist man an einem sehr schönen Strand mit tollen Bars und Restaurants die auch deutlich günstiger sind wie an den Stränden der Hotel Area.

Very relaxing

We loved the relaxed feeling after the day’s adventure. My kids loved the pool and I liked that it was not the overwhelming experience of the all inclusive hotels up island. We walked out to nearby restaurants every night (but could have cooked in the well appointed kitchen) and found the area safe and accessible. Will certainly return to this hidden gem.

Fabulous and private

The place was hard for us to find, everything else was fabulous. Everything we could have desired was available. We rented a car and were so happy because getting around in the heat is something we are not used too. I would highly recommend this place.

Heerlijk!

We hebben een fantastische vakantie gehad. De accomodatie heeft daar zeker aan bijgedragen. De communicatie met de verhuurder verloopt heel prettig. Wij vinden het complex een klein paradijsje. Lekker kleinschalig; met vaak het zwembad (bijna) voor Jezelf Het huisje ligt fijn tov het zwembad. Alles is aanwezig.

Heerlijke vakantie gehad! Heel fijn huis van alle gemakken voorzien, iedere dag schoonmaak is heel fijn en luxe..Leuk kleinschalig vakantiepark met bewaking in de nacht.Helaas geen strandstoelen aanwezig, dagelijks strandbedden huren is erg duur, wij hebben zelf geïnvesteerd in stoelen. Ook is er helaas geen wasrekje.. Er is een gezamenlijke plaats om was te drogen maar dat vind ik niet prettig.De ligging van huisje 36 is erg gezellig.. Wij zouden zo weer teruggaan!

Perfect Getaway!

All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room had been updated. Nicely The kitchen was very well stocked. There was a bar at poolside open 4-8 pm (small pool but cute and well maintained w waterfall). Rental car recomnended.

Highly Recommend This Property

We really enjoyed our time at Camacuri. The entire process from booking to check out was simple and hassle free. The front desk attendant, amazing, she was incredibly helpful during our stay. Location is great. Close to the airport so there is no traffic to fight between the two locations. In the evening, you wouldn’t even know there is an airport nearby as the property is very quiet, calm, and relaxed. I believe the word is tranquil. Recommend going to Reflexions Beach Bar & Restaurant, about an 8 to 10 minute walk to from the property and definitely book a day trip to De Palm Island. Come as Guests Leave as Friends, said a small sign hanging on the wall of the front desk at Camacuri. We chuckled a little about it during our check-in, but we felt that sentiment when we left. I can’t wait to return to Aruba and Camacuri is where I plan to be staying.

Not a 5 star, but pretty decent overall!

Check in was easy. Staff were helpful, friendly and accommodating. I would suggest a car so you can see the whole island and check out the great places to eat. Our fav - West Desk - went 3 times. Aruba water is the best we’ve run across for drinking. Had some great excursions - atv- snorkeling- jet skying- Palm Island and Aqua Windie’s were wonderful. Swam with the sea turtle. Even the big green lizards around the pool were friendly. A couple of hiccups which is no reflection on Wilfred - the lounge chairs are needing some tender loving care and the pool pump was down for a couple of days. So we made them beach days. FYI Baby Beach wins it for us. The only drawback - the wicker living room furniture is very squeaky and not very comfortable to sit in. After a long day in the sun sometimes a comfy chair/couch and some tv time is what you need. But hey we had a great time anyway.

Peaceful and lovely apartment

When we first arrived, we were taken aback as the photos are a little more glamorous than the place itself. We also realized that for our 3-week stay to be satisfactory, it was best to rent a car. We’ve adopted a 72-hour rule before judging accommodations (we are full-time travellers) and this place grew on us. The apartment itself is spotlessly clean (and comes with daily housekeeping services). It has a well-stocked kitchen and a gas stove. A washer AND dryer are available on-site. The pool is also spotless. And the bed is super comfortable. And the wi-fi is reliable. Things to be aware of include that warm water is only available in the shower (not in kitchen or bathroom sink), which makes washing dishes interesting! Also, bring mosquito repellant—we found mosquito coils kept them at bay in the mornings on our lovely front porch. The complex needs some TLC (the new owner has some big plans). And the location made it easy to get to downtown, grocery stores and an excellent local beach. We would stay here again if we ever return to Aruba.

Sehr schöne, saubere und gepflegte Anlage

Wir waren insgesamt 10 Tage in der Anlage in Camacuri.Die Ferienwohnung gehört zu einer kleinen, gepflegten ruhigen Anlage. Die Ferienwohnung und die Anlage waren sehr sauber und es wurde täglich gereinigt. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet und verfügt über 4 Schlafplätze (2 Einzelbetten im oberen Bereich und ein Doppelbett unten). Parkplätze gibt es in ausreichender Zahl innerhalb der Anlage. Der nächstgelegene Strand ist fußläufig in ca 15 Minuten zu erreichen - es empfiehlt sich aber ein Mietwagen um die Insel richtig erkunden zu können. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten für Lebensmittel gibt es in ausreichender Zahl in Form von kleineren und größeren Supermärkten - jedoch ist auch hierfür ein Mietwagen sinnvoll. Das Fahren in Aruba mit dem Auto ist problemlos - man muss nur auf die teilweise schlechten Straßen achten, die teilweise auch nicht asphaltiert und ggf für Nicht Allrad-Kfz ungeeignet sind. Alles in Allem war Camacuri eine sehr schöne Unterkunft abseits vom Massentourismus. Wilfred und auch die Angehörigen an der Rezeption waren sehr freundlich standen bei Fragen immer hilfreich zur Verfügung. Danke für die schöne Zeit !!

This was a great property, the hosts were very nice the apt. Was great. The pool was great there is a bar by the pool they serve limited breakfast and dinner all food was good. If you plan on staying at camacuri i would highly recommend renting a car. I rented a 4 door sedan for 300$US for 6 nights so great rental prices. There is a beach and restaurants within 10 minutes walk but you do need a car to get down town and if you want to go to different beaches you need transportation. Camacuri is more in a residential area the night life and shopping/dinning is about 20 minute drive. The island is very easy to get around plenty of parking most free, some for a small fee. The resort has free gated parking! Definitely recommend camacur. Youll love it to.

Everything was clean and quiet. All the staff was very nice and the cleaning staff came by regularly to make sure we had towels and bedding even before their employee day off. The pool was fabulous and well maintained. Many times we had the pool to ourselves because it was so quiet. Overall wonderful experience. The only down side was we had to taxi to most locations. We did walk a few times but it was very hot some days. Taxis about $10-$20USD for most locations.

The staff were real friendly and accommodating. Our room was cleaned each day at the time of our choosing. The beds were comfortable and the space was just right for us three. The beach was a 5 minute walk from the vrbo. At this time of year, there wernt many people staying so it was nice and quiet. The pool area was clean with plenty of lounge chairs. We didnt use the BBQ but its available if you want to grill your food. We could adjust our AC and 25⁰ C was comfortable. The only downside was our unit didnt have an oven, which we realized AFTER we bought a frozen pizza! We mentioned it to our onsite manager, Estrelle, and she let us have the keys to the unit next door, which had an oven. They go above and beyond to please you.

Centrally located

Good location, had everything we needed. Chairs, Beach chairs and coolers! We used them everyday! Apartment management very pleasant and helpful. Walked to a few bars and restaurants at surf beach.

Heerlijk en gezellig verblijf met alles dat een mens nodig heeft. Echt heel fijn!

Het eerste contact met de gastheren was al super fijn. Ze denken met je mee en genieten zelf mee als jij dat ook doet in hun verblijf. Zelden zulke betrokken eigenaren meegemaakt. En wat een heerlijk smaakvol ingericht huisje. Alles aanwezig, van airco, ventilatoren, genoeg kleerhangers, tot adaptors, föhn, strijkplank, strijkijzer, ruime laden in de badkamer, magnetron en andere apparatuur in de keuken etc etc…koelboxen, strandstoeltjes, niks ontbreekt! Fabulous place, tropical oasis, feels like staying with friends.

We stayed at Wilfreds apartment for the second time because it is such a wonderfull and tranquil place. The apartment is clean and nicely decorated. It has everything you need for a perfect stay at Aruba. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. Immediately after arrival you feel comfortable and at home. The newly fitted kitchen is well equipped end the beds (very important to us) are good. A nice surprice was the completely refurbished and modernized pool that looks fresh and inviting to go for a swimm or cool down. There are plenty of sunbeds and places to sit down near the pool to enjoy the sun. To us this place is incomparable with the big mass tourism resorts. Feels like home away from home. Thank you again Wilfred for your hospitality and your concern for our well-being during our stay. No doubt that we will come back again. Eric & Monica

Great Hospitality

Overall our stay was good. The property owner checked in and was very helpful. He made sure everything was all set for our stay and checked in while we were there. The property manager, an very nice woman(I have forgotten her name), I as also very helpful and accommodating. The actual condo was very clean and the cleaning lady came once a day which was great. The only downfalls to this property would be the area was definitely a huge difference from our last stay in Aruba where we stayed on a resort. The landscaping was over grown and the pool was very small and we did not spend much time there. That’s where i felt the pictures did not match the actual property. The area itself was okay but if you are looking for a lot of things to be in walking distance, the area is not the best for that. There is a beach that’s about 8-10 minute walking distance that has a cute little restaurant nearby. We did not swim at that beach because it was not as nice as the other beaches on the island. If you stay at this location you definitely want to rent a car to visit the other parts of the island because it is so beautiful and you will have to walk a ways to see everything. Again, the owner and manager are beyond nice and hospitable. The place was very clean. The cost was very afforadable. The only drawback was the landscaping, the pool and the location.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay

For our first visit to Aruba, Wilfred's place was the perfect place to call home for a week. Plenty of space to relax, a well-equipped kitchen, swimming pool, and gated parking were all nice touches. Close enough to beaches, dining, and attractions, yet far enough from the tourist spots that you can enjoy a quiet stay. Wilfred checked in regularly by WhatsApp to make sure we were happy. Very highly recommended.
