Beach Front, Spacious, Clean and Comfortable

Welcome to the beautiful white sand beaches of Alabama's Gulf Coast! Enjoy your stay in the brand new, beautiful 3 bedroom, 4 bath condo that easily sleeps 8! Our 6th floor unit is unique in the fact that you have glorious views of the Gulf from every room! Large open floorplans offer visitors room to spread out and the huge balcony invites you to take in the unbelievable views of the Gulf of Mexico for miles.

Wake up each morning with spectacular views from each of the bedrooms. This unit features flat screen televisions in each room and a large LCD in the living room. A wet bar with ice maker and a large kitchen makes entertaining a dream.

When you are ready to leave the unit, right downstairs you can enjoy the huge indoor pool, sauna or fitness room. And right outside, this complex features the only lazy river on the beach along with water slides and another large pool for guests of all ages to enjoy. If you are so inclined, walk directly onto one of the most beautiful, white sand beaches in the world!

This unit is a non-smoking unit. All renters must be 25 years of age to rent and there are no pets allowed. We have offered three telephone numbers to make it easy for you to make your vacation reservations. Please call. 6/10 - Phoenix West is amazing but this unit could use some TLC

This was my second time staying at Phoenix West and our experience was vastly different this time around vs spring break last year. The unit we were in last year was great, but this particular unit could use some TLC. We had some issues at check in with the unit not being clean. Rafi was quick to reply and sent the cleaning manager out, but she wasn’t able to come until several hours after we checked in. Ultimately we had to have the bedding replaced in one of the bedrooms. There were wrappers and trash behind the bed in another room that we were asked to throw away. The shower curtains were mildewed. While the unit was “surface level clean”, it was very apparent the unit hasn’t had a thorough cleaning in some time. Rafi did refund my cleaning fee and replaced the bedding, and he did everything he could to make it right. There were only 2 towels per bathroom provided, which meant we had to wash towels daily, which is fine, but the dryer door would not stay closed so we ended up propping a chair in front to keep it closed so that it would actually dry. Kitchen is bare bones…minimal dishes and cookware etc, which isn't an issue if you go out to eat for most meals. One of the arms on the couch is broken…needs to be replaced. Beds were comfortable enough, and the second ice maker was very nice. We loved the pool, lazy river, access to the beach and overall location of the condos. Would stay again but would be better prepared next time (extra towels, kitchen essentials, etc).

Spring break

We had a couple of issues upon arrival with light switch and toilet. They were eventually addressed but the information provided to get it fixed was incorrect. Also the bare minimum in bath towels were provided for guests. Along with bare minimum toilet paper and paper towels. In the document provided at the start of the trip, it reminded us that this was someone’s home so don’t treat it as a hotel. But if I wanted more towels, toilet paper, etc I was going to be charged. It just did not come across very welcoming.

Winter getaway

Location is excellent. Building is attractive and a parking garage is available at an extra fee. The building common areas were clean, we were on the 6th floor. There is controlled entrance to the property with a guard at the entrance. The beach was clean and easily accessed with a very narrow dune area. The boardwalk to the beach was excellent.

Pluses and minuses

Let’s start positively. The condo had great space, wonderful view, loved the extra ice machine , plenty of space to spread out with the seven of us, and all the other amenities. The pools and slide and river were nice and the ten and seven year olds had a ball. You are ver close to some great restaurants including wolf bay , docs and ruby slipper. But, Had to wait 4.5 hours to finally enter. Room had not been cleaned. It was still a little bit dirty, but we managed. The blinds in living room are off their rails. Screen is torn. There were only eight towels in the whole place. Light bulbs out. Shower curtain moldy. The fans would come on in primary bath without pressing switch. There is likely a short in primary bath light switch. One of the shower heads does NOT work properly. I’d recommend getting adjustable ones to replace those. The kitchen sink faucet is jacked up, doesn’t turn on properly. Rafi did his best, I believe, to accommodate us. It needs some tlc and maintenance, but overall it’s pretty good

The view is perfect! The unit is clean and the beds are comfortable. You can park right on the 6th floor and walk straight in to the unit without using the elevator. This is our second year to stay in this unit and we will stay again!

Great condo & facility. We enjoyed the comforts of the room & the amenities of the building. Great pools & beach access. Only negative was you could feel sand on the floor on arrival which we swept up very easily. Thanks for sharing your happy get away with us.

Floors need a good cleaning

We loved the complex and have stayed here before. It definitely did not disappoint. However, the unit itself needs a little TLC. The floors left our feet black, almost to the point where we always wanted to wear shoes while inside the unit, and one of the sofas needs the arm repaired or replaced. Other than that, we enjoyed our time there, but would probably not rent this particular unit again.

Great vacation!

This is our 2nd year at Phoenix West, we love the location and pool amenities! We chose this unit because we wanted a 3 bedroom vs a 4 bedroom that we had the prior year. Our vacation was awesome, the condo was good and we were happy with it being on the 6th floor. There were several things that need to be addressed with the condo and some were even mentioned in previous reviews so I’m surprised they weren’t addressed before our stay. Like others have mentioned, the cleanliness of the condo wasn’t the best. Floors were dirty and also some bedding. The shower door in the master bath can’t be opened without help from someone on the outside. You can see the shower door bend so definitely watch this because it totally looks like it will cause a major cut! The electric in the master bath is finicky, you have to flip the switch several times. The soffit in the kitchen leaks down onto the counter, this was my biggest issue! It looks almost like someone tried painting over the water marks instead of making a repair. Watch what you put on the counter, we had several things ruined before we noticed the issue. I contacted the property manager who gave me a name and number to call. Whoever this person was, never called me back. It’s disappointing to spend several thousand dollars and not have issues acknowledged or even an apology. Although there were a few maintenance issues, we had a great vacation and were outside for the majority of the time. We had bouts of rain each day so the upkeep of a unit is definitely important, it’s also a bummer to have to clean a condo prior to using…

beautiful place!!!

we Loved our stay loved the beach, pool and coffee on the deck overlooking the ocean. the only thing we struggled with is that we were traveling in our motorhome and there was NO parking anywhere we had to park 6 miles away and taxi to and from resort. it was a pain and expensive. but the veiws and resort is awesome.

Wish we could live here forever!

This place was amazing. Very spacious and all amentities were provided and even more than we imagined (blender, toaster, crockpot, coffee makers, etc). The location was perfect with literally a stroll to the beach! The view was to die for! Rafi was a great host and very helpful and even helped us check in a bit early!! We can't wait until we return! The only things I would mention: The thermostat went out on our second night (it kept showing a connection failure option) so it got warm, but thankfully I had brought my fan from home and he also had one in the closet to use. We didn't have any garbage bags (which were to be included). We text and called the housekeeper but never got in touch with her so we had to go buy our own. Not a super big deal, because they're trash bags 🤪 The ice maker attached to freezer was frozen over and never worked the the entire time.. we didn't mind it so much because this place had a wet bar, so we did have some other ice available.

Absolutely Wonderful

This condo is fantastic!! It is exactly as shown. Very spacious and clean. Great views. Also you could park on the same floor and not have to use the elevator! Doesn't get much better than that! The only thing we had an issue with was the beds. They were terrible. My husband tried sleeping in multiple rooms just to find some comfort. They need replacing. We are spoiled though because we sleep on a Sleep Number bed. Everything was perfect though aside from that.

Minor issues, great condo and building

Pros: Rafi was very responsive and helpful. Parking right outside of unit made unloading and loading a breeze. Condo was spacious and had every amenity we could need. Cons: Filthy floors—had to wash our black feet before getting into bed. Called the number Rafi left for cleaning but she never called back. Several outlets not working. Light in master bath kept shutting off—something wrong with wiring. Dirty dishes—that’s on the people who stayed there before us, but I’d just be aware you may need to wash your dishes. Fridge freezes food on top shelf. No mention on listing of needing a $35 parking pass.
