It can sometimes be very expensive, but during the off season prices seem to come down some. The hotel and restaurant and shopping area are lovely, and well-designed in this converted water-side warehouse. This hostel however exceeded all my expectations and dispelled my worries. It's squeeky clean, well organized, in a beautiful and convenient location just off the Shimanami Kaido bike path. Das Zimmer war ein Traum, vor allem das Badezimmer mit der großen Badewanne lädt zum entspannen ein. Das Frühstück Buffet ist großzügig und bietet eine große Auswahl. Die Lage ist auch super, der Bahnhof ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß erreichbar. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Hotel gehört zu meinen Favoriten und ich kann es wärmstens empfehlen. The staff at reception were really helpful and I appreciate the alternative cycling itinerary that was provided (right down to the ferry times and cost of the ferry rides!) after we missed the ferry to Imabari.
