Historic inn that has been well-maintained into the 21st century! Spacious rooms with excellent modern bathrooms. Beautiful views over the harbour of Falmouth, especially for breakfast!

Room was spacious, but under a function room, and the noise transmitted down. We had cool weather, and the room was warm. No aircon, so can imagine it would be very uncomfortable in hot weather.
The room telephone and TV did not work when we got the room. Fixed the next day. TV was not networked, so no iPlayer etc. The Sundeck advertised with the room was a private patio outside. Ok, but not really private. Also cigarette butts not cleared away from previous occupants. Pool and gym ok but busy with non-guests. Spa very nice, but £40 pp for 2 hours in the facilities was too much to consider. Restaurants ok, but pricey for what you got. Staff all very friendly though.

I ended up booking this on a lark, and what great fortune it was! The location, the attention to details, the fluidity of welcoming attentive and informative staff to impeccable grounds, made it a memorable stay. They combine high end service w/ a feeling of being at home, I will most definitely be booking with them again. Highlights: Spa inclusion w/ room stay (sauna, steam bath all pools especially heated outdoor!) location: coastal pathway to St Charles. Nature walks, no cars to everything I wished to visit. Fabulous ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
