My Ojai home is created with spaces and opportunities to relax and luxuriate while experiencing the views and sweet smells of Ojai. My space also benefits from my belief in and cultivation of a natural living environment as I am dedicated to using organic bedding and towels and chemical-free cleaning products. I have installed an expensive and comprehensive water purification system so that you can drink water from the tap and bath in filtered water. Ping pong, corn hole, hammocks, porch with a sweeping view, picnic tables, tether ball, luxurious fire pit, BBQ, clay court tennis, redwood hot tub & indoor fireplace are also opportunities to enjoy your vacation and time in Ojai. My house is in a quiet neighborhood close to Thacher, Meditation Mount & the Krishnamurti Center while also being 8 minutes by car to downtown Ojai. I have a TESLA charging 240 V outlet that is available for guests to use. Please bring your own cord if you are interested in charging while at the house. I am a permitted Homeshare with Ventura County which is required to legally rent short term in Ojai. Guests can use tennis court, children swings, tether ball, picnic tables, ping pong table, full kitchen, dining area, outdoor dining under the stars, fabulous spots for pitching a tent, picking fruits from hundreds of mature trees and lounging in shaded hammocks. My home is a permitted Homeshare in Ventura County. You will have privacy in the space you inhabit, I will be on property and available if needed. My Ojai Valley East End Chic Ranch Home is situated in the quiet east of East End where orchards and horses reside. Krishnamurti Center is a short walk around the corner. Thacher can be walked to or driven by. Boccali's Pizza & Pasta is the nearest restaurant: 6 minutes by bike, 27 minutes on foot and 3 minutes by car. 5-minute drive to Thacher School 7-minute drive to Meditation Mount & Ojai Valley Upper School Campus 8-minute drive to downtown Ojai. 9-minutes to 4 beautiful public Pickleball courts with open play opportunities every day of the week. Easy 15-minute bike ride to downtown Ojai, less easy return with steady uphill. 15-minute walk to The Krishnamurti Foundation of America. 22-minute walk to Thatcher School. 22-minute bike ride to Ojai Valley Inn. We have furnished our home to enjoy ourselves so we have high standards and pride ourselves on living in a chemical and toxic-free environment. We provide biodegradable shampoos and dish soap for our guests and do all of our cleaning with water and vinegar and phthalate-free laundry detergent. There is NO SMOKING anywhere on the property. We ask that while you visit to please respect our neighbors and community and refrain from making loud noise after 10 pm. This is also a shoe-free home and we ask that you please leave your shoes outside by the front door. Outside there is a hot tub, tennis courts, ping pong table,swings, a fire pit and plenty of space to entertain. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of light. Regrettably the rains were so bad our outdoor time was limited. The kitchen was overly stocked. So full of plates and utensils that there was no place to put groceries. Suggestion there- go through drawers and closets to get rid of triplicates and quadruplicates. 60 pcs of everything is too much. The only thing we really wanted were chairs to get up and down from. All the furniture was very low and deep. House is so charming & artfully decorated. We all commented that, unlike so many vacation rentals, the house had soul. And a gas fireplace and so many little spots to enjoy outside, or do yoga inside. We loved pulling books from the massive collection in the living room and thumbing through. Our family enjoyed the stay here. The home is spacious with two sitting rooms and three bedrooms. The host was available throughout the stay. We enjoyed her beautiful and eclectically curated home, 1970s wood hot tub, charcoal pit outside. Although we had no time to try the clay tennis court, ping pong table or medicine ball available, perhaps we will next time. This house was the perfect home base - beautiful, spacious, well equipped kitchen, and very comfortable. Our kids had a blast playing pickleball and ping pong. Even better, they picked Ojai pixies from the orchard and made fresh squeezed orange juice for us every morning we were there! Caitlin and Willow were very responsive and ready to help with anything we needed, though the house is so well set up we really didn't need a thing. I highly recommend staying here. My family and I recently stayed at this lovely home for a small vacation. My children are 4 are 2 and we had the most delightful time playing on the tennis court, exploring the property, playing games and making meals in the house. The house exudes playfulness and our family loved all the quality time we were able to spend enjoying each other. We loved the bright colors and artwork in the house. It was a wonderful place to just hangout. We also explored Ojai during the day and enjoyed some local parks and restaurants. I see us staying at this fabulous home again! Also, Caitlin the owner was very responsive and helpful. Paul who let us in to the home and gave us a small overview was also a delight. Five stars for this fab rental! ##### Kate B.
