About this space
This is the quintessential beach house! Walk down the block to put your feet in the sand or pick up a bottle of wine at historic Jack's Country Store.

Play games in the huge fenced yard, go clamming & build a bonfire on the beach or take a drive to explore this 28 mile long Peninsula and all it has to offer!

LaVerna has a gas BBQ, picnic table, fire pit, shuffleboard, smart TVs, DVD player, bikes, WiFi and a covered front porch.
The space
"LaVerna" (the name given to our beach house over 100 years ago) is well equipped and can be your "home away from home" on the Long Beach Peninsula.

The game room which is separate from the main house is a place to play shuffleboard, play one of the many games provided, watch a movie on the 55" TV or just sit and read in front of the propane stove on a stormy evening with a glass of wine. The couch also makes into a queen size sleeper should the need or want to use the room for additional sleeping space arises.

If you're more of an outdoorsy type, grab a couple of the beach chairs and take the quick walk down to the beach for a bonfire. Or hop on one of the bikes and take a ride along Park Avenue!

During clamming season I have clam guns and nets - - licenses can be purchased at Jack's Country Store.

The kitchen has most everything you might need including some basic spices, plenty of dishes/glassware, pots and pans and a coffee bar with coffee, creamers, sugar, etc. for your morning brew.

The house has two bathrooms (one with a shower and one with a tub - - no shower) plenty of towels, soap, shampoo, hair dryer, etc.

There are 3 bedrooms (one has a queen bed with attached bath, one has bunk beds and the third has a full size double bed).

LaVerna also has a washer and dryer for your use.

The other great feature about this house is the large, fenced yard. The side yard is very open and a great place to play yard games while dining al fresco at the picnic table - - just bring home some fresh seafood, throw it on the propane grill and you're all set!

There is a more secluded area on the property with a big fire pit - - bring on the s'mores!!
