The kitchen had most things we needed! We loved using the griddle to make pancakes, or bacon, or eggs! The kids loved having the pool to come back to after the beach, or to start the day off while waiting for everyone to get ready! The beds were comfy, which was super important for us grandparents! The elevator was such a blessing to get food and luggage to the right floor! Not to mention the outside closet that had beach chairs, umbrellas and sand toys. Very clean, great amenities, plenty of dishes and cookware, huge kitchen/dining area, elevator was nice for my older parents, pool was very clean and the perfect size…the list could go on and on…The owners were very responsive to emails. I would HIGHLY recommend this home for your next family vacation. Word of advice though…if you check in on Saturday, you will be waiting a couple hours to get over the bridge!! It took us 2.5 hours to get to the home when we were 4 miles away from it. So either arrive earlier and hang out/get lunch before check in, or arrive later…traffic didn’t die down until 9pm on Saturday night…we watched it from Ocean Isle Fishing Center (great fried shrimp tacos!!)…I’d give this vacation an 11/10! ##### Brandon H. I loved sitting on the deck looking at the ocean! Our family had a great time! Enjoyed the warmer pool. Our daughter is handicap and in a wheelchair, the shower was too small for her to take a shower, her feet stuck out of shower. Had to wait a couple of days to get ramp for her wheelchair to get in and out of the house .The elevator was very useful, but opened into the second floor into the stairway, very close space, been better to open up into room. This is a beautiful, well appointed, absolutely spotless property with an excellent location and only 3 houses away from the beach access. The kitchen was well stocked for large groups. We loved the huge front decks. The pool was put to good use as our week was extremely windy on the beach. We loved the convenience of an elevator for arrival unloading and grocery shopping. The house is right across the street from the beach--easy walk for our multi-generation family members. The house is well laid out, well-stocked, and immaculate. Best maintained beach house we've ever stayed in. The owner was easy to reach for the one minor repair we needed during our stay. The on-line welcome book is the best we've encountered. Easy to operate elevator, nice pool, and lovely views from both front (ocean) and back decks (sunset and marsh). This house was an excellent choice for my family to vacation. There are so many amenities in the home that helped make it easier to travel with little ones (bed rail, booster seats, cart for loading all the beach toys and more). The home was spacious, very clean and the elevator was a huge help in getting all the things we brought, including groceries, to the top floor. The location is perfect with views and sounds of the ocean as well as back views of the waterway. The pool was clean and the pool area well kept. As an out of state renter, not familiar with the island, renting towels and bed sheets for the property was a bit of a surprise, but the owner was super helpful navigating my confusion and providing check in details/helpful links day of. The pool is a great size & the outdoor patio area is spacious. The pool & beach supply closet was full of floats, sand toys, and beach chairs, which was very convenient! The beach access is less than a 2 minute walk from the house. The house itself is well laid out with most of the bedrooms on one floor.
