One block from the beach & boardwalk. Steps from the walking bridge to downtown Asbury Park. Views of the ocean, Wesley Lake, The Stone Pony & Down Town Asbury. Adjacent to picturesque "Founders Park" with its flowing fountain. All amidst the charm and tranquility of peaceful, historic Ocean Grove. This fully renovated Victorian home offers three covered terraces to sit and enjoy the ocean breeze. It's everything a vacation to the shore should be. Please message us with general questions or inquiries and we will respond within 24 hours. Existing and arriving guests that require immediate assistance should call our hotline which is included with our check-in / welcome messages and posted in our lobby. Emergent voice messages will be returned promptly by our staff. The Space: This bright and spacious room is located on the first floor. It features an en-suite bath, Queen size bed and sitting area with chairs overlooking Wesley Lake. Each suite at the Melrose features smart home technology. Smart TV's offer free access to Hulu Live or the ability to sign into your favorite streaming service. State of the art Wifi beacons provide 1000/1000 mbps internet connection through out the entire house and exterior porches. Smart locks ensure you'll always have access without having to tote around a set of keys! Guests also have complete control of the temperature within their suite. Guest Access: This is a 1st floor unit that requires the front stairs for access. Guests will be provided with check-in instructions and a personal keycode 3 days prior to and the day of arrival. Upon check-in time, your keycode will activate. Simply enter the code into the keypad on the house front door and room door, and then press the button at the bottom of the keypad. You will need to complete this sequence before the backlight of the keypad times out. \*\*\*Please note, guests that did NOT book via Airbnb will need to complete our Rental Agreement prior to receiving their check-in instructions\*\*\* Due to our meticulous cleaning standards, early check-ins or late check-outs can only be accommodated based on our turnover schedule. Walk through Bradley Beach and Avon-By-The-Sea until you reach the Belmar Bridge as you enter Belmar. Every community and every beach offers a different flavor and there are an infinite amount of places to explore. Getting Around: We're in walking distance to everything. The beach, the boardwalk, live music venues, hundreds of restaurants, bars and shops are all only a few minutes away. We're also approximately 1/2 mile to the train station with access to NYC or a 30 minute Uber ride to the NYC Ferry. Other Things to Note: Quiet hours are strictly enforced: 10PM - 8AM. This was walking distance to the venue and also many dining options just across the bridge. Neighborhood of well kept historic properties, lovely gardens, quiet surroundings. We recommend the starving artists at days for breakfast. they also have ice cream parlor. We weren't aware of the history of Ocean Grove and that it is a 'dry town' but just across the bridge or town border into Asbury Park are plenty of options if you are looking for an alcoholic drink. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet. I would definitely stay there again! Parking was not supposed to be an issue, but I got a parking ticket on the street because it snowed overnight....so just be mindful of the parking! (Obviously, that has nothing to do with the property, it's just a warning!) Also, I forgot something in my room and doubled back, and the young blonde woman who was cleaning was very kind and knew exactly what I came back for...and she saved it for me. Had the weather not been so awful for a Memorial Day week-end, and had we not paid optimum price for this property, our impression would have been better! After reading very positive comments about the Melrose on what appeared to be their current website, we were under the impression that a « delicious breakfast » would be served in the morning, but that website apparently described the Melrose under previous ownership. The new Melrose is a « Bed and Bath » and doesn’t offer breakfast. That was very confusing. Also, perhaps more bathrooms linens could be included as there were two bath towels only and one hand towel to be used for three nights. Also just one little bottle each of body wash, shampoo and conditioner which we used sparingly to make them last three days. The room wasn’t cleaned for the entire duration of our stay, perhaps due to the Covid virus. There was a convenient small refrigerator in the room, and we were very thankful for the coffee machine available to all guests at the entrance of the Melrose. ##### Simone and Mitchel F. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Beth Y. 4 mai 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Wonderful respite in Ocean Grove. Great space for relaxing, with just a short two-block walk to the beach and boardwalk. Our communication back and forth with the owner/manager was very helpful, happened easily; she was very responsive and informative. ##### Beth Y. Close to Asbury Park, beach at the end of the block. View of the lake and neighbors. Park just around the block with additional parking. Room is clean. Fridge in room with microwave available upon request, which we did. Property manager and owner are very responsive to our requests. Would stay again. ##### Joseph H.
