We did have problems with Maisie as there is no safe place to let her out as the cottage opens onto the road, also all the area around Rutland water is dogs on leads only so sadly no proper exercise there. Primrose Hall was even better than the pictures suggested with plenty of room for four adults, a baby and a small dog! It is a beautiful and stylish renovation with countless lovely touches. And to cap it all, we entered to the smell of a freshly baked homemade loaf left for us with other essentials. Really thoughtful. And Empingham itself and the surrounding area is a delight. The hosts, Dale and Helen, have thought of pretty much every guest's needs and catered to them; from the ready to light wood burner to the welcome pack and copious information about local amenities and facilities.
