Back inside the home you can choose between the 3 large bedrooms all with brand new furniture. The Primary bedroom has a king-sized bed, an ensuite bathroom and it also has a glass door with access to the pool in the backyard. Here you can keep an eye on the shenanigans in the pool while staying in the cool air conditioning. Both guest bedrooms are equipped with a queen and a twin-sized bed. The hallway bath has a fun shower curtain, sure to make you smile. All three bedrooms are equipped with smart TV’s. Communication with the property manager was hassle free and he was very nice when I called to pay my pet fee. House was beautiful and well maintained. The welcome package with the granola was much appreciated. The front patio area was where we spent most of our time reading and hanging out. Some of the rooms were dusty and had cobwebs in the corners. Also dog hair was on the base boards of the beds. This house had everything we needed and it was very clean and open. The game room was an added bonus especially when you can win against your adult children 😁 It was so easy to find restaurants and stores nearby and the beach is just a short drive. We've always stayed in beachfront houses before but hope to come back to this house in Oak Island. If you ever have any questions or concerns they will be answered right away. The pool was extremely pleasant and the interior space was spacious, so we didn't feel packed in on top of each other. The converted garage -- the game room -- was a nice touch as well, adding some fun when you wanted to do more than relax. The beach is not really in walking distance for most people, but the drive there is maybe 4 minutes, so not far. The only thing I had any real trouble with during my stay was the persistent laundry smell lingering on all the bedsheets and pillows. The intense smell gave me headaches and made it hard to sleep well. Others, admittedly, are not as sensitive to these smells as me, however. The rooms are large, house was clean, perfect for our guest and our fur babies. Loved the pool, which is where we spent the afternoons when it was too humid for the beach. The only problem I had with the pool was having to clean millipedes out of the water before I could use the pool. The fenced yard was great since I could let my puppy be out with me when I was using the pool. I loved sitting out in the sunroom early in the morning or in the evening when it wasn't as hot.
