Welcome to Sand Castle! HUGE 5224 square foot home. 9 bedrooms, 6 1/2 baths, sleeps 26 people, elevator! Walk to beach! Saltwater Pool, hot tub, gourmet kitchen, 2 refrigerators, 2 microwaves, 2 dishwashers, 2 ovens, 2 sinks, gas stove with 4 burners, grill and griddle. Walk to restaurants! Oceanfront and waterway dining. Beautiful beach and sunsets! Boat docks, fishing pier and docks, golf club, tennis, soccer, basketball, parks, nature center. 15 min from Southport on Cape Fear River, waterfront dining, shops. Great for weddings, reunions, retreats*! Inquire about special pricing on last minute remaining dates.

Spring Yoga Retreat Success
Great property with loads of bedrooms, plenty of space for gathering, huge kitchen, and ample decks for stretching out and enjoying the area. Just a short walk to the beach and pier to boot! We had 12 people and were all comfortable, managed yoga by the pool one day, and a few other practices on the upstairs deck area - with birds chirping and breeze blowing. Being in a neighborhood was a nice touch, for sure. Excellent communication with the owner and had everything we needed for a successful gathering. Would have liked to have a bit more large service ware for serving meals, but we were able to manage. There is some ceiling damage in the main level living room but nothing that took away from being able to enjoy the house and the space. We did have a few people in the pool but did not venture into the hottub this trip. Excellent source for seafood is a few blocks away and local provisions under 2 miles - a great spot and a relaxing weekend gathering. Would definitely stay again!

This property is a short walk to the beach and has tons of space for gathering together or for having space to yourself. The kitchen is well stocked and the beds are comfortable. Thanks to the owners for clear communication and quick responses for any questions.

We had our entire bridal party stay here and it was simply perfect! Everyone had their own space. We enjoyed hanging out in the hot tub, watching basketball in the living room, and even playing some of the games they provided! The hosts were so nice and always responded quickly. The Sand castle was exactly what we were looking for!

Great Family House
Larry's house was comfortably big enough for our family of 18. It was beautiful, well-equipped with comfortable beds. The location was beautiful. Larry was super responsive. The elevator wasn't working when we arrived and he was at the house in 20 min working on it. A super nice guy, an amazing property and a beautiful location. We definitely recommend!

PERFECT FOR OUR FAMILY
We used the house for Thanksgiving 2023. It was perfect for our family dynamic! The floorplan is awesome being that each bedroom is roomy and has access to it's own spacious bathroom. Of course we did a lot of cooking and found the kitchen to be well stocked with tons of equipment and great quality pots & pans--unheard of at a short term rental! The host was extremely responsive (when we had questions prior to booking) and very accommodating. I'd definitely recommend this property to others.

Fall Get Together
This was our second trip to the Sand Castle and it won't be our last! The property is in a great location, an easy walk to the beach, and had ample space for our group of 24. The kitchen has everything you'll need to feed a group, and enough space so that multiple cooks aren't bumping into each other! It was unseasonably warm for part of our stay, so more people braved the pool than last year as well. Thank you for having us again, and we look forward to next year already! ♥

I can’t say enough good things about this place. Excellent location on Oak Island, house is clean, kitchen appliances are fantastic, backyard with pool and hot tub is wonderful. Highly recommend this place!

Our stay was amazing, enough space for all to be together or apart. Each person was happy with the assigned romm, but all were overjoyed by the ELEVATOR. Great for families. Everything worked properly, 2 blocks from the beach. I would highly recommend
